The two-storey plan PDF behind this title appears to show a broad drawing set for a project in Bay, Laguna, Philippines—not just two floor plans. Its contents include architectural, structural, electrical and plumbing sheets. But the Scribd page does not establish that the drawings have current permit approval, may legally be reused, suit another lot, or relate to a designated heritage property.
What the Bay, Laguna plan set appears to contain
The Scribd-uploaded contents list names the Office of the Building Official and Municipality of Bay, Laguna. It identifies these sheets and details:
Architectural and site drawings
- Exterior perspective and vicinity map
- Site development plan
- Ground-floor and second-floor plans, plus a roof plan
- Four elevations and two sections
- Door and window schedules
- Reflected ceiling plans, a ceiling-finish detail, and stair and bathroom details
Engineering drawings
- Structural foundation and footing details, second-floor framing, and truss details
- Electrical layouts and notes
- Plumbing layouts
This is what the uploaded page says the document contains; it is not independent authentication of the drawings as issued construction documents. A contents list can help you see whether a set covers multiple disciplines, but it cannot confirm that every sheet is present, legible, coordinated, or suitable for construction.
Does a PDF house plan mean the project is permit-ready?
No. PDF is a file format, not a permit status. Local authorities determine their own submission requirements and review drawings within their jurisdiction. The Bay plan’s title and contents do not establish an active permit approval.

As one jurisdiction-specific example, Jakarta’s SIMBG guidance calls for complete, legible 2D drawings uploaded as PDFs and describes local review. It lists a situation drawing, site plan, plans for each floor, sections, elevations, a building-intensity table, building details, and specifications. These are Jakarta requirements and should not be treated as a universal checklist.
How to check scale and consistency across sheets
For Jakarta submissions, SIMBG says house plans commonly use a 1:100 scale. That is Jakarta guidance, not a universal scale requirement. Check the scale printed on each sheet, and do not rely on measuring a screen display or a resized printout as though it were the original drawing scale.

SIMBG identifies mismatches between dimensions or areas on the site plan, floor plans, and submitted data as a common submission problem. Before relying on a set, compare the same underlying facts across its sheets:
- Check that the stated lot dimensions and building position agree between the site plan and the information for the property.
- Compare floor dimensions and stated areas across the ground- and second-floor plans and any area data submitted with them.
- Look for clear dimensions, drawing scales, sheet titles, and legible notes; flag conflicts rather than choosing one figure yourself.
- Ask the locally responsible designer or building authority which scale, drawing contents, and submission format apply to your project.
An architectural scale ruler can help read a correctly printed, unresized drawing at its stated scale. It cannot verify dimensions, structural safety, site suitability, or code compliance.

Can you use a plan from another city or country?
Not without checking it against the actual lot, local rules, and the responsibilities of local professionals. A reference plan does not establish fit for a different lot’s dimensions, slope, access, orientation, zoning, hazards, or structural conditions. Confirm whether you have permission to adapt or reproduce the drawings, too; the Scribd page does not establish the uploader’s rights to redistribute them.

When assessing alternatives, compare their stated jurisdiction and approval status, site assumptions, room layout and circulation, architectural and engineering sheet coverage, structural assumptions, and adaptation permissions. The examples above are not a like-for-like product comparison or a ranking.

No. The phrase appears in the search title, but that alone does not establish that the Bay property is designated, that the drawings concern a cultural property, or that a heritage authority has approved the work.

For work affecting cultural properties in the Philippines, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) heritage bulletin describes submissions that can include a request and work scope, condition documentation, as-built or as-found and proposed plans, architectural drawings, and engineering plans if available. It also says additional documents may be required case by case, with referral to relevant heritage bodies. Confirm the current procedure with the authority responsible for the specific property.
A separate Malaysian Department of National Heritage guideline gives an example of conservation concerns near a heritage building: respect the existing building’s character and site integrity, avoid undermining the original structure, and avoid obscuring heritage views. Those points are a Malaysia-specific example, not rules for Bay, Laguna.
Who should review the structural drawings?
Have qualified local professionals review the plans against the actual site and applicable requirements before construction. A sample or uploaded drawing set is not a substitute for design responsibility. A Quezon City handbook extract says the hired structural design engineer remains responsible for accurate, compliant structural plans within that engineer’s scope; that statement is specific to the handbook’s jurisdiction and scope.
For a plan you intend to adapt, ask the locally licensed architect or designer and structural engineer to identify the site assumptions, applicable codes, missing information, required revisions, and who is responsible for each discipline. The electrical and plumbing sheets also need review for the project and local submission requirements.
