The current US listing is for the LiberNovo Omni Gen; published hands-on impressions and the English manual cited here cover the earlier Omni. They are different generations, so specifications and experiences should not be mixed. Early reviewers of the original describe straightforward assembly and a supportive, enveloping backrest, while individual users report mixed reactions to seat depth, recline feel and value. We have not tested the chair; the observations below are attributed to their sources.
Which LiberNovo Omni does the evidence describe?
LiberNovo’s current US product page identifies the chair as the LiberNovo Omni Gen. TechRadar and Windows Central reviewed the earlier Omni, and the English manual cited here also names that original model. The Omni SE is a separate, manually adjusted variant; its details should not be treated as specifications for either Omni generation.
This distinction matters when checking dimensions, capacity, battery, warranty, included accessories or retailer listings. Confirm the exact model and regional listing before buying.
What early reviewers noticed about the original Omni
Assembly and first setup
TechRadar’s Collin Probst estimated that assembling the original Omni took about ten minutes and described the process as straightforward. He also recounted having to undo a step after routing the wire controls incorrectly. This is one reviewer’s estimate, not a controlled assembly test.

- Bionic FlexFit Backrest: Precision-tailored support with manual lumbar adjustment, perfectly aligning your spine for all-day comfort.
- Dynamic Support System: Headrest, backrest, seat, and armrests move with your body, maintaining continuous support as you shift, lean, or recline.
- 5 Recline Positions (105°-160°): Adjust your angle for work, gaming, or relaxation, from 105° Deep Focus to 160° Spine Flow. Pair with the LiberNovo Footrest to support healthy posture, provide ergonomic leg support that helps reduce pressure on your thighs, and maximize reclining comfort.
- Dynamic Screen Alignment: Differential tilt of headrest and backrest keeps your gaze steady, while sliding armrests (up to 100mm) provide uninterrupted support.
- Zoned Support, All-Day Comfort: Integrated with a Multi-density cushion, it enhances pressure distribution and circulation for effortless long-hour sittiing.
Windows Central’s Zac Bowden also called assembly straightforward, saying he managed it single-handedly. Neither account establishes how long assembly will take for every buyer, but both suggest that carefully following the model-specific instructions—especially the wiring sequence—is worthwhile.
Back support, headrest and materials
Probst described the original Omni’s backrest as supportive and said it hugged his spine. After a few days, he found that the headrest dropped and moved side to side more easily than he expected.

Pair with the LiberNovo StepSync Footrest to support healthy posture, provide ergonomic leg support that helps reduce pressure on your thighs, and maximize reclining comfort.
- Active Ventilation System: Stay cool with integrated airflow that reduces heat and sweat—even during extended sitting sessions.
Bowden, who said he used the original Omni for just over a month, praised its comfort and adjustability, while noting that some plastic parts felt less premium to him. These are attributed reviewer impressions, not independent durability findings.
Why comfort and fit reports differ
Two individual Reddit posts illustrate why a broad verdict on fit would be premature. One poster praised the enclosing backrest, appearance and packaging, but remained unsure about value after only a day or two with the chair, at a reported CAD $950. A separate user, who identified the seat pan as 48 cm, liked the design, cushion and headrest but felt pushed forward and disliked the seat depth and recline behavior. Both are anecdotal accounts from individual users, not representative testing.

Seat depth, body proportions, preferred recline and how much the backrest’s movement suits you can all affect the experience. Manufacturer measurements and another person’s comfort report cannot substitute for trying the exact chair if fit is uncertain.
Omni Gen specifications: what the manufacturer states
The current US Omni Gen page describes a Bionic FlexFit backrest, dynamic support and motorized lumbar stretch. It lists a 105°–160° recline range and a 2,200 mAh, 12 V battery that the manufacturer says lasts 30 days. These are manufacturer claims, not independently verified runtime or performance results.

| Omni Gen listing detail | What the page states |
|---|---|
| Suggested height range | 5’0″–6’1″ |
| Load figures | 300 lb limit alongside a 110 kg EN1335 figure; retain the listing’s stated model and standards context rather than treating these as a single universal capacity |
| Recline | 105°–160° |
| Battery | 2,200 mAh, 12 V; manufacturer-stated 30-day duration |
The original Omni’s English manual is not an Omni Gen manual. It names ANSI/BIFMA X5.1 and EN1335-2 (Type C), specifies a 110 kg maximum load and lists motor ratings of 24 W and 12 V/2 A. Do not use those original-model motor figures as Omni Gen specifications.

The practical distinction to weigh is manual versus motorized adjustment, along with how the backrest responds as you move, the seat depth and recline feel, perceived build, battery dependence, and the total cost with any accessories. The available reviews do not establish that the motorized system is better for everyone or provide a controlled comparison with other chairs. Consider whether its adjustment approach fits your preferences, and verify what is included with the generation you are considering.

What to verify before buying
- Model and fit: Confirm whether the listing is Omni Gen, original Omni or Omni SE, then compare that version’s dimensions and height/load guidance with your needs.
- Returns: At the time accessed, LiberNovo’s current page advertised a 30-day return window with free return shipping for qualifying chairs returned in like-new condition with original packaging and accessories, plus 30-day price protection. Check the current terms for your region and exact product.
- Warranty: Windows Central reported a five-year chair warranty and two-year electronics warranty for the original Omni at the time of its review. Those are historical claims, not confirmation of current coverage. LiberNovo says warranty details are product-specific; check the applicable regional listing.
- Battery: The 30-day runtime is the manufacturer’s claim for Omni Gen; actual runtime conditions are not specified on the cited listing. Consider whether charging a chair’s powered adjustment system suits your routine.
- Accessories and total cost: Windows Central described a footrest as optional and not required for the original Omni’s stretch function. Tom’s Guide discusses the StepSync footrest in its Omni SE review; verify compatibility, included items, price and availability for the specific generation before adding it.
- Retailer listing: TechRadar’s review page includes an Amazon link labeled “LiberNovo Omni at Amazon,” but that does not establish current stock or which generation a live listing sells. Match the model identity before ordering.
