Four HGTV series—Farmhouse Fixer, Married to Real Estate, Izzy Does It and Bargain Block—were reported as not returning after their hosts shared the news in late June 2025. The coverage documented upset comments from some fans, but HGTV had not responded to People’s request for comment at publication, and the reports gave no confirmed reason for the decisions.
Which HGTV shows were reported as not returning?
Contemporaneous coverage published June 26, 2025, named four series whose hosts said there would be no additional season or whose nonrenewal was otherwise reported:

- Farmhouse Fixer
- Married to Real Estate
- Izzy Does It
- Bargain Block
The number four is the count of shows named in those articles; the reports did not supply a ratings figure or audience statistic tied to the decisions. People’s report, republished by AOL, says the hosts shared the news beginning June 23.
How did the news emerge?
The reports attributed the news to the shows’ stars, not to a formal HGTV announcement. For Farmhouse Fixer, host Jonathan Knight said HGTV had decided not to move forward with another season. Parade quoted Knight saying, “A lot of you have been asking about the future of Farmhouse Fixer. I am sad to say HGTV has decided not to move forward with another season.” Parade also quoted him saying he was “still processing the reasons” behind the decision.

For Izzy Does It, People reported that Izzy Battres replied to a viewer asking about a season-two premiere date: “Unfortunately no Season 2.” The reports named Married to Real Estate and Bargain Block among the four, but the available coverage does not provide an equivalent quoted announcement from each show’s host.
Did HGTV explain why it made the decisions?
Not in the cited coverage. Knight said he was still processing the reasons, and People reported that HGTV had not responded to its comment requests by publication. Neither fact establishes a network rationale. The reports do not substantiate explanations based on ratings, budgets, scheduling, or any other cause.

Were fans really “fuming”?
The headline wording reflects selected social-media reactions, not a poll or a measured account of all HGTV viewers. People’s report included comments expressing confusion, disappointment and heartbreak. One Reddit commenter asked, “What is left on HGTV after all these cancellations?” Those remarks illustrate individual reactions; they do not show how most viewers felt.

Parade described the futures of those two shows as uncertain in its June 26, 2025 coverage. That was a snapshot from that date, not a current status update, and it should not be treated as evidence that either series was later canceled or renewed.
