Ring’s 2025 Black Friday sale has ended, and Ring’s official page had not announced a 2026 event when checked on 18 August 2026. The original T3 article was published on 27 November 2025, with mainly UK prices. Those prices are historical, not live offers. Use the products below as a shortlist for the next sale, and judge any discount against the model, installation and subscription costs rather than the percentage reduction alone.

Ring’s official Black Friday page says shoppers can sign up for notification of the next event. Ring’s current offers page contains US and Canada promotions, but they are not Black Friday 2026 prices.

The 12 Ring products worth watching

1. Battery Video Doorbell (2024): best cheap buy

This was the strongest value pick in the 2025 list for basic alerts and live viewing. Buy it when a sale price is clearly below newer models and you only need essential doorbell functions. Skip it if a newer doorbell’s better resolution, detection or removable battery is worth the difference.

2. Battery Video Doorbell Plus: best middle ground

The Plus model is a better target when you want improved image quality and a removable battery without paying Pro money. Ring’s current US range lists the Battery Doorbell 2K Plus at $119.99, reduced from $179.99 when checked, with a Quick Release Battery Pack. UK availability and pricing can differ.

Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (newest model) Retinal 2K with wide-angle video, up to 6x Enhanced Zoom, Two-Way Talk, and Built-In Battery, Matte Mocha
  • Capture it all with Retinal 2K video — From wide views to tighter focus, it’s easy to see your home or business in crisp clarity with Retinal 2K.
  • Zoom in up to 6x — Catch details at a distance, inspect faces, and more with up to 6x Enhanced Zoom.
  • Connect to who’s there — See, hear, and speak in real time with Live View and Two-Way Talk.
  • Get real-time alerts — Receive real-time notifications on your phone when motion is detected.
  • Easily recharge — Simply insert the included removal tool to detach your doorbell from the wall, then recharge the built-in battery via USB-C. (Cable not included.)

3. Wired Video Doorbell Pro: best wired option

Choose a Pro only if the location already has suitable wiring and a compatible transformer, or you have budgeted for installation. Ring’s current range includes a Wired Doorbell 4K Pro with 4K video and 3D Motion Detection; its US page showed $199.99, reduced from $249.99 when checked. A large discount does not remove electrical and mounting requirements.

4. Battery Doorbell with Chime, 2nd Gen: best starter bundle

This makes sense for a home that needs an audible indoor alert and does not already have a compatible smart speaker or Chime. Compare the bundle with the doorbell alone: an unwanted Chime is not a saving.

5. Floodlight Cam Wired Pro: best fixed outdoor deterrence

Use it for a driveway, yard or side access point with mains power. The floodlight combines illumination with camera coverage, but it needs a permanent, weather-appropriate mounting position. It is a poor fit for renters or locations where drilling and electrical work are unsuitable.

6. Spotlight Cam Plus Battery: best flexible outdoor camera

This is easier to position than a wired floodlight and adds lighting and a siren. Battery life depends on traffic, Wi-Fi, temperature, live viewing and settings, so it is not maintenance-free. Choose it when flexible placement matters more than avoiding charging.

Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (newest model) Retinal 2K with wide-angle video, up to 6x Enhanced Zoom, Two-Way Talk, and Built-In Battery, Speckled Gray

7. Outdoor Camera Plus: best lower-cost outdoor coverage

Use it for general monitoring where you do not need an integrated floodlight or the highest-resolution hardware. Check whether the version is battery or plug-in before buying and plan the cable or charging routine accordingly.

8. Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera: best for a larger room

Remote pan and tilt can cover more of a room than a fixed camera. That benefit comes with a privacy trade-off: avoid bedrooms, guest areas and shared spaces where a movable lens could capture people unexpectedly.

9. Indoor Cam, 2nd Gen: best cheap indoor camera

The fixed camera is the straightforward add-on for a hallway, entrance or utility room. Its physical privacy cover is useful when people are at home. It cannot provide the remote room sweep of a pan-tilt model.

10. Ring Alarm Pack: best for a planned alarm system

Buy an alarm pack only when you want sensors and a broader system, not merely a doorbell. Ring’s current US bundle page lists protected kits from $269.99 and whole-home kits from $359.99; these are current signals, not Black Friday prices. Check regional monitoring and emergency-feature eligibility before ordering.

  • Easily recharge — Simply insert the included removal tool to detach your doorbell from the wall, then recharge the built-in battery via USB-C. (Cable not included.)

11. Alarm, Indoor Camera and Battery Doorbell Kit: best whole-home starter

This can beat separate purchases when you have a clear location for every sensor, camera and doorbell. Calculate the individual-device total and remove the value of accessories you would not otherwise buy.

12. Ring Intercom Audio: best compatible-flat option

Ring Intercom Audio is relevant only to residents whose building intercom is supported. It is not a substitute for a doorbell at a detached house. Confirm compatibility before treating a low sale price as a bargain.

Ring’s current doorbell range changes the comparison

Ring’s official doorbell page currently lists the Peephole Cam 2K, Battery Doorbell 2K, Battery Doorbell 2K Plus, Battery Doorbell 4K Pro, Wired Doorbell 4K Pro and Wired Doorbell 4K Elite. The Peephole Cam 2K starts at $99.99 and uses no-drill installation with a Quick Release Battery Pack, making it relevant to compatible flats. The Battery Doorbell 2K starts at $99.99; the 2K Plus adds a removable battery; the 4K Pro models target premium buyers; and the Elite uses Power over Ethernet and is a specialist choice.

Ring says its newest Quick Release Ultra Battery Pack offers up to 67% more capacity for the newest 2K and 4K Battery Doorbells. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independently measured runtime result.

Ring Wired Doorbell 4K Pro (Newest Model), Retinal 4K with wide-angle video, 10x Enhanced Zoom, and Night Vision, Deep Silver
  • Capture it all with Retinal 4K video — See your home or business in the ultimate clarity with Retinal 4K.
  • Zoom in up to 10x — Catch details at a distance with up to 10x Enhanced Zoom.
  • See, hear and speak to visitors on camera — With Live View & Two-Way Talk with Audio+, you’ll be able to interact with who’s there in real time, right from your phone.
  • Tailored detection for more exact alerts — 3D Motion Detection pinpoints motion on your property so you’ll receive more precise alerts and fewer interruptions.
  • True color, even in low light — With Low-Light Sight, just a little ambient light gives you true color video. In total darkness, your camera switches to crisp black-and-white to keep details sharp.

Battery or wired: choose by your home

  • Choose battery if you rent, live in a flat, lack wiring or need flexible mounting.
  • Choose wired if compatible wiring and transformer capacity already exist and you want to avoid routine charging.
  • Choose a Peephole Cam if your apartment door has a compatible peephole and drilling is prohibited.
  • Choose a wired floodlight for a fixed, dark outdoor area with suitable mains power.
  • Choose a battery spotlight or outdoor camera where placement flexibility matters most.

Installation time varies with wiring, transformer, Wi-Fi, mounting surface and local electrical conditions. Do not assume a generic “five-minute installation” claim applies to your property.

Subscription costs are part of the price

Owning a Ring device is separate from paying for cloud services. Live view may work without a plan, while re-watching missed events, stored video history, intelligent recognition and some alarm or emergency features require an eligible Ring plan. Ring’s product information says a compatible plan is needed for certain recording and intelligent features: product details.

Ring’s plan information warns that recordings can become unavailable and may not be retrievable after a trial or subscription ends: plan terms. A free trial is not a permanent inclusion, and coverage can differ between one device and several devices. Do not assume camera recording, alarm monitoring and emergency response share the same eligibility.

The 2025 T3 article mentioned 30-day Ring Home trials on many deals, but that was a historical offer and may vary by country, product, retailer and account.

How to judge a bundle

  1. List each device and accessory you would buy separately.
  2. Compare that combined price with the bundle price, not just the advertised “was” price.
  3. Check whether you need a Chime, extra battery, solar accessory or sensors.
  4. Add installation and any recurring plan cost relevant to your intended features.
  5. Reject the bundle if one expensive component has no planned location.

Ring’s current US/Canada offers include Battery Doorbell plus Outdoor Cam Plus for $119.99 (listed as $179.99 before), Battery Doorbell Plus plus Spotlight Cam Plus Battery for $199.99 (listed as $329.98 before), and several camera, doorbell and alarm combinations. Offers are subject to stock, shipping, tax and non-combination restrictions and are not Black Friday 2026 prices: Ring offers.

When to skip a Ring deal

  • Skip an old-generation clearance model when a newer device is only slightly more expensive.
  • Skip a Pro doorbell if your wiring or transformer is unsuitable.
  • Skip battery cameras for high-traffic locations if frequent charging will be impractical.
  • Skip an alarm kit if you have not accepted its possible recurring-plan requirements.
  • Skip a bundle containing duplicate Chimes, sensors or batteries.
  • Skip any indoor camera placement that compromises another occupant’s privacy.
  • Skip Ring Intercom products unless your building’s intercom compatibility is confirmed.

Alternatives for avoiding subscriptions

If you prefer local storage, compare Ring with subscription-free cameras and doorbells before buying. TechRadar’s 2025 comparison identified Eufy as one alternative, but its cited prices and sale status were tied to that year and should not be treated as current: TechRadar comparison.

How to shop Black Friday 2026

  1. Check Ring’s official Black Friday page and the model’s current product page when the sale launches.
  2. Confirm country, plug, retailer, warranty and subscription terms.
  3. Compare the sale price with current-generation alternatives, not only the stated reference price.
  4. Verify wiring, battery type, Chime requirements and camera placement.
  5. Check stock and return conditions before committing; popular inventory can disappear early.

The Bottom Line

Best targets: the Battery Doorbell 2K Plus for most battery-doorbell buyers, the Wired Doorbell 4K Pro where compatible wiring exists, Outdoor or Spotlight cameras for flexible coverage, the Indoor Cam 2nd Gen for inexpensive indoor monitoring, and an Alarm bundle only when you genuinely need whole-home protection. Treat every 2025 price as historical, wait for verified 2026 pricing, and include subscription and installation costs in the real comparison.
