GE Appliances announced a 30-inch ENERGY STAR induction and convection range on June 11, 2025. Manufacturer announcements in 2025 point to interest in connected refrigerators, cooking assistance, and laundry guidance. Samsung’s March 24, 2025 announcement described AI Home and AI Vision Inside on select refrigerator models. Samsung’s notes said AI Vision Inside was available on select T-Type and French Door models and, as of April 2025, could recognize 37 food items. It could not identify food in refrigerator door bins or the freezer, and unrecognized items could appear as unknown.
