The premium commercial air-conditioning range is offered in VRF and Commercial Split (CAC) configurations, with capacities published in kilowatts. Samsung has not published a matching tonnage list, so confirm the exact model and capacity with an authorized commercial AC partner before specifying it for a project.
What Samsung announced
Samsung Newsroom India’s 5 October 2026 announcement positions the Infinite One-Way Cassette AC for premium residential and commercial environments. It identifies two configurations: Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and Commercial Split (CAC). The announcement says the series is available through commercial AC channel partners nationwide.
An earlier Samsung lineup announcement dated 16 September 2026 also named the Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC. Because its capacity list differs from the later product-specific release, treat the model and capacity information as release-specific and verify the current configuration with Samsung’s authorized channel.
Price in India
Samsung’s 5 October release gives a starting price of ₹16,00,000 inclusive of GST. Its 16 September lineup release states a starting price of INR 160000, a numerically equivalent amount. These are launch-announcement figures, not confirmed current local quotations. Ask a commercial AC partner for a quote for the required model and installation scope.

Features Samsung highlights
Ambient Edge Lighting
Samsung says Ambient Edge Lighting offers nine mood-based modes inspired by the human day-night cycle. The described Warm, Natural and Cool choices each have high and low intensities, alongside a Smart Lighting Intensity mode that adjusts brightness. The unit is stated to have a depth of 13.8 cm and an exterior made from ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate). These are manufacturer-published specifications and claims.
Wide WindFree airflow
The product-specific release describes an outlet with 17,000 micro-holes for Wide WindFree cooling. Samsung says this disperses air gently and evenly to create a “still air” environment, and claims reduced operating noise and improved energy efficiency. The release does not provide independent comparative measurements for those performance claims.

Wi-Fi and SmartThings controls
Samsung says built-in Wi-Fi connects the AC to the SmartThings app without an additional module. Listed functions include voice control, Edge Lighting control, Welcome Cooling, energy monitoring, usage patterns, AI Comfort Mode and Pet Care. Confirm which functions are available for the exact model and setup before specifying them.
Copper anti-bacterial filter: test limits
Samsung reports that its copper anti-bacterial filter reduced certain bacteria by up to 99% in an Intertek test. The footnote identifies KS K 0693:2016, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 and Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 4352, with an 18-hour test. Samsung cautions that actual results may vary and that the filter-unit result is not a test of a specific AC model. It should not be read as a general health benefit or whole-appliance performance result.

Published capacities: confirm the exact model
The two Samsung releases do not publish matching capacity lists, and neither explains the difference. Both state capacities in kW, not tonnage.

What to verify with a commercial AC partner
- Confirm the current model code, whether the offer is VRF or Commercial Split (CAC), and the rated capacity in the manufacturer’s current documentation.
- Ask for a project-specific quotation and confirm what the stated price includes; the published starting price is not a quote for a particular site or installation scope.
- Have a qualified HVAC professional assess the space and installation requirements rather than choosing by a presumed tonnage equivalent.
- Confirm SmartThings and other listed controls for the proposed model and site setup.
- Check current availability and installation arrangements with an authorized commercial AC channel partner; the launch releases do not establish a particular dealer, marketplace listing or referral program.
Samsung’s statement
Vipin Agrawal, Head of SAC Business at Samsung India, said: “The Infinite One-Way Cassette AC reflects this evolution, introducing an innovative indoor climate solution in the Indian market that transforms air conditioning into an integral part of consumer experience,”
