What could visitors see?
YSL Beauty Art of Flowers
A floral expression covered the 34th Street facade and led into interior scenes inspired by YSL Beauty fragrances. One landscape drew on LIBRE L’EAU NUE, with lavender and golden orange blossoms associated with LIBRE, and fern and geranium elements associated with MYSLF. An “enigmatic blue universe” featuring sage and blue geranium surrounded Y. The experience ended at a pop-up boutique. Macy’s also listed bouquet gifting, bottle personalization and engraving, watercolor art, and limited-edition flower charms.

Why was the 2025 show notable?
It was the 50th Macy’s Flower Show at Herald Square. Macy’s chief marketing officer Sharon Otterman said the company expected more than one million customers. That was a forecast in the April 14, 2025 announcement, not a verified final attendance total; the announcement did not report an independently measured turnout.
