Consumer Reports’ 2026 search-result summary says it tested Earth Breeze, ECOS, Ecowise, Kind, Sheets Laundry Club, and Tru Earth, but reports only that one brand performed better than mediocre on any stain and that Earth Breeze was moderate on dirt. It does not provide enough detail to rank the products. Here’s how to compare sheets—and what is actually established about three named options.
What the available cleaning test can—and can’t—tell you
Consumer Reports’ 2026 summary names six tested brands: Earth Breeze, ECOS, Ecowise, Kind, Sheets Laundry Club, and Tru Earth. It says only one performed better than mediocre when cleaning any stain; the summary characterizes Earth Breeze as moderate on dirt. The full report and test details are not available in the cited material, so those findings do not establish a best-to-worst ranking, individual stain scores, or results for the other five brands. Consumer Reports’ summary is a reason to look for full, comparable test results—not to treat product-page claims as proof of cleaning performance.
Three sheets with documented product details
The details below come from manufacturer product pages, except for the limited Earth Breeze finding attributed to Consumer Reports. They help compare dosage, pack information, and stated compatibility; they do not establish which product cleans best.
| Product | What is documented | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Tru Earth Laundry Detergent Sheets | The US product page lists 32 strips for 64 loads and a displayed price of $19.95 when retrieved in 2026. Tru Earth says the sheets are suitable for HE machines and all temperatures, and says the packaging is recyclable. It also lists exclusions including parabens, phosphates, phthalates, dyes, and chlorine bleach. Tru Earth product page | The page’s pack count and product claims are not independent cleaning-test results. The displayed price is a dated reference, not a current-price guarantee. |
| Earth Breeze Laundry Detergent Sheets | The company lists 60-load packs and a fragrance-free option. Its directions call for half a sheet for regular loads, one sheet for large loads, and two sheets for heavily soiled or extra-large loads. It claims hot- and cold-water, HE, septic, and greywater compatibility. Consumer Reports’ accessible summary describes its performance on dirt as moderate. Earth Breeze product page | The limited test summary does not provide a full ranking or support a general conclusion about Earth Breeze on all stains. Compatibility statements are the company’s claims. |
| Beyond Laundry Detergent Strips | Beyond says its strips are for hot or cold water and HE machines, and packages them in paperboard. Its directions specify one strip for small or medium loads and two to three for full or very large loads. The company states 55% USDA Certified Biobased content and EPA Safer Choice certification. Beyond product page | These are manufacturer statements, not cleaning-performance results. The certification and biobased-content claims have not been independently checked here. |
ECOS, Ecowise, Kind, and Sheets Laundry Club are named in Consumer Reports’ summary, but the accessible summary provides no individual results for them. Without those results, there is no sound basis here to compare their stain cleaning with the three products above.
#1 Best Overall
- 【Package Conetent】The laundry soap sheets detergent tablets box contains 300 small loads=150 large loads=150sheets. They are precut and pre-measured to avoid overused. Measuring cups are no longer needed. (Tip: If your clothes are very dirty, please soak the clothes with sheets for 15-30 minutes before washing them. )
- 【Deep Cleaning】The eco-friendly laundry detergent sheets are scientifically formulated with low-foaming, safe, and clean ingredients, which better penetrate into and between the fibers, dissolving and removing various stains like oil, coffee, and red wine from your clothes, and leaving you with fresh clothing. (Tip: Before throwing them into the washing machine, please soak or treat the stain with soap or remover if sticky or special stains are on your clothes for a long time. )
- 【Dissolves Easily and Low Foam】 The disolvable washer sheets detergent adopts fast dissolve technology and upgraded surface actives to dissolve quickly and fully in both cold and hot water, which will not leave any residue on your clothes and machine after washing. Furthermore, the low foam characteristic of washer sheets makes them highly suitable for efficient washing and easy rinsing, eliminating the need for additional rinse cycles.
- 【Say Goodbye to Mess and Spillage】 Liquid clothes detergent sheets can sometimes be messy and take up space. Measuring out detergent whether it is liquid or powder almost always results in spillage. With the Fisroa laundry sheets detergent, every piece of paper is cut and measured. No measuring and nothing to spill while washing.
- 【Save Space and Perfect for Travel Home Dorm Camping School College】Compact, thin, and lightweight travel laundry sheets, compared to large plastic jugs of laundry detergent and washing powder, are more convenient to stock up, carry out, and save space. Traveling with a few sheets in your carry-on luggage is convenient without adding weight and worrying about spills.
How to compare cost fairly
Divide the price you will actually pay by the number of loads supported by the manufacturer’s directions for your typical laundry. A pack’s headline load count may assume a smaller dose than a full or heavily soiled load needs.
- Use the dose for your load size. Earth Breeze, for example, recommends half a sheet for a regular load, one for a large load, and two for a heavily soiled or extra-large load. A pack labeled for 60 loads will not provide 60 loads if you regularly use two sheets.
- Compare the same kind of price. Separate a one-time price from a subscription price or temporary offer, and use the same market and date for each product.
- Check the product’s own instructions. Do not assume that “loads” means the same load size or soil level across brands.
As a dated US example, Tru Earth’s cited page displayed $19.95 for 32 strips and 64 loads when retrieved in 2026. That works out to about 31 cents per listed load before any shipping or discount, but the figure is only comparable if its load assumptions match your use. Prices and availability can change.

Choose by fragrance, washer, and cycle needs
If you want fragrance-free sheets, Earth Breeze lists a fragrance-free option. For machine and temperature compatibility, Tru Earth, Earth Breeze, and Beyond each make claims on their own product pages about HE use and hot or cold water. Those statements can help narrow a purchase, but they are vendor claims rather than comparative test findings. Check the current label and directions for the specific product you plan to buy, particularly if you use a short cycle or have a washer-specific requirement.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Read environmental and ingredient claims narrowly
Packaging, ingredients, and whole-product environmental impact are different questions. Tru Earth describes its packaging as recyclable, while Beyond describes paperboard packaging. Neither packaging statement by itself proves that every product component is plastic-free or establishes the product’s full lifecycle impact.

- Dissolves quickly in hot or cold water for a deep clean in all machines, including HE washers
- Lightweight and travel-ready, ideal for small spaces, laundry rooms, or on-the-go use
- Plastic-free laundry detergent sheets reduce waste with zero plastic bottle packaging
- Same powerful cleaning ingredients as ARM & HAMMER liquid detergent for tough stains and everyday messes
- Fresh Breeze Scent leaves laundry smelling clean and fresh
Earth Breeze says its sheets contain water-soluble PVA and argues that this is not a microplastic. That is the company’s position; the cited material does not independently establish how the material behaves across real wastewater conditions or across laundry-sheet brands. Likewise, claims such as “eco-friendly,” “safer,” or suitable for sensitive skin need more than a broad marketing phrase to establish a health or environmental outcome. Treat a certification or ingredient statement as a specific claim by its named source unless you have checked the relevant certification record or independent evidence.
Quick Recap
A practical way to pick a sheet
- Start with cleaning evidence. Look for independent tests that disclose brands, stains, conditions, and scores. The accessible Consumer Reports summary is too limited to name a six-product winner.
- Match the dose to your laundry. Use the directions for regular, full, and heavily soiled loads; calculate cost using the dose you are likely to use.
- Filter for your requirements. Confirm fragrance-free availability, machine compatibility, and temperature guidance on the current product label.
- Separate package claims from ingredient claims. A recyclable or paperboard package does not answer every question about sheet ingredients or environmental impact.
- Check price and terms at purchase. Confirm your region, pack size, one-time versus subscription pricing, and the current load directions.
