The “weird parts” of a Ninja Crispi are easier to clean once you know which pieces come off—and which cleaning details Ninja has not spelled out on its product page. Ninja says its Crispi accessories are dishwasher-safe, but that broad claim is not a detailed cleaning method for the powered PowerPod, its vents or controls.
Identify the removable parts first
Ninja describes the Crispi as a system with a powered PowerPod and several separate components: 6-cup and 4-quart glass containers, storage lids, crisper plates and a Crispi Container Adapter. The adapter is a removable piece used with the system; it is distinct from the powered module.
These names matter because “accessories” is the term Ninja uses for its dishwasher-safe claim, while the PowerPod is named separately as the powered part. The product listing does not explain whether that claim covers every surface, internal area or crevice of each component.
What Ninja says about cleaning
Ninja’s US product listing states: “All Crispi accessories are dishwasher safe and nestable for easy cleaning and storage.” That is the manufacturer’s product-page claim, not a detailed set of cleaning instructions or an independently reported test.

The PowerPod is the powered module, not one of the glass containers or crisper plates. The product listing does not say how to clean its exterior, vents or controls. Follow the model-specific owner’s guide or confirm the appropriate method with Ninja support rather than applying a procedure intended for another Ninja air fryer.

Adapter crevices and other hard-to-reach spots
Ninja lists the Crispi Container Adapter as a system component, but the product page gives no crevice-cleaning directions. Consult Crispi-specific guidance before choosing a tool, cleaner or technique for recessed areas.
