All require more hands-on work than a conventional automatic washer.

Headline capacities are not directly interchangeable: some listings combine wash and spin figures, while others provide only a single capacity label. Verify the current product listing, dimensions, warranty and included hoses before buying.
What “non-computerized” means here
In this category, non-computerized generally means a portable or semi-automatic washer operated by mechanical knobs, rotary timers or simple switches instead of a computerized user interface. That does not prove that every internal component is free of electronics; manufacturers do not consistently document the complete control architecture.
Most are twin-tub machines. One tub washes while a separate spinner extracts water. You normally fill the wash tub, set a timer, drain or pump the water, refill for rinsing, and move clothing to the spin tub by hand. The tubs may run together or separately, depending on the design.

Perfect for dorms, apartments, RVs, etc. Note: There is water in the washing machine because it is tested before packaging, we do not sell used products!
- [Powerful Performance] Equipped with a 1300 rpm powerful motor, clothes can be washed quickly and efficiently. Washer capacity: 18lbs, Spin capacity: 10lbs. Recommended maximum water line: 13.5 inches. The transparent window allows you to see the process of washing or spinning. Our mini washer machine can achieve low consumption and save water, while free your hands.
- [Equip with Drain Pump & Adjustable Inlet Hose] This portable washing machine equipped with a drainage pump. You can choose freely drain water to a higher position or a convenient place randomly. You never need to worry about the drainage problem.
- [Separate Time Control & Lint Filter]Users can control washing time, washing mode and spinning time through the three control switches on the panel. There is two water inlets on the panel for connecting the hose to easily add water. With the simple control panel, this mini washer is easy to operate and you can get clean clothes in three steps.
- [Product Usage Tips] 1. Don't overload. Overload may cause the motor to turn on overheating protection. 2. Balance the spinner to prevent it from losing balance, hitting the inner walls, stopping work. 3. If the machine doesn’t drain, check that the water hose is not clogged or bent, which may prevent the spinner from working properly. 4. Make sure the drain height is less than 45 inches.
Model-by-model guidance
Erivess Portable Twin Tub: best balanced starting point
Choose Erivess if you want a conventional twin-tub layout with manual knobs and a useful separation between washing and spinning. Its 11-lb wash section and 7-lb spinner are more informative than the 18-lb combined headline because they show how much laundry can actually be washed and spun in separate steps. It is a practical match for an apartment, dorm, RV or backup laundry station, provided you have room to transfer clothes between tubs.
SUPER DEAL Portable Washer: best where gravity drainage is easy
SUPER DEAL is a small-load option with manual timers and a stated 1,300-RPM spin specification. Its gravity drain keeps the setup simple but requires the washer and hose to be positioned so water can flow to a suitable drain. It is a better fit for a raised utility area, bathtub or other location designed for gravity drainage than for a flat floor with no nearby low drain.
Superday 16-lb: mid-size manual option
Superday is the middle-capacity choice in the comparison for shoppers who want more room than the 9.9-lb models but do not need the largest headline capacity. The available comparison identifies it as a manual-control washer; confirm its exact wash-versus-spin breakdown, hose arrangement and dimensions on the current listing.
INTERGREAT 16L: pump-oriented placement choice
INTERGREAT is labeled with a drain pump, making it the logical option when the discharge point is not directly below the machine. A pump improves placement flexibility, but it does not eliminate the need to route and secure the drain hose. Confirm the pump outlet position and hose length before using it in an apartment, RV or utility room.

ZenStyle is aimed at small loads and tight storage spaces. The comparison identifies a 1,300-RPM label, but it does not establish extraction performance under independent testing. Treat that number as a listing specification, not a guarantee of drier clothes or faster drying in your room.
ROVSUN 17.8-lb: mode-selection priority
ROVSUN stands out in the comparison for an eight-mode label. That may help if you want more preset choices than a basic wash-and-spin timer, but the available information does not establish what each mode changes or whether the machine has a pump. Check the current control panel description and drain instructions.
Auertech 28-lb: largest stated headline capacity
Auertech has the largest headline capacity in this group, making it the candidate for households that want fewer, larger batches while retaining manual controls. Because the listing does not provide separate wash and spin capacities here, do not assume the full 28 lb can be washed and spun at once. Confirm both figures and the machine’s operating footprint.

BLACK+DECKER 1.7-cu-ft: cycle-choice alternative
BLACK+DECKER is specified by a 1.7-cu-ft capacity and six cycles rather than a pound rating. That format may be easier to compare with conventional compact washers, but cubic feet and pounds are different measurement systems. Confirm the usable wash load, whether a separate spinner is included, and the drain method before treating it as equivalent to a twin-tub model.

How to choose the right one
1. Match the real wash and spin capacities
A twin-tub’s wash capacity and spin capacity are separate. For example, manufacturer listings for comparable Giantex and Costway semi-automatic twin tubs specify an 18-lb wash tub paired with an 8-lb spin tub. That means a full wash load must be divided or spun in batches; it is not an 18-lb load that fits in the spinner at once.
2. Decide how wastewater will leave the machine
- Gravity drain: simplest mechanically, but the hose needs elevation and a suitable downhill route.
- Drain pump: more flexible for a standpipe, sink or other discharge point, while still requiring secure hose routing.
3. Measure the operating footprint, not just storage
Measure width, depth and height with lids open, hoses attached and enough space to move wet clothes between tubs. A machine that fits under a counter may not be usable if the lids cannot open fully.
4. Plan the water and transfer routine
These washers generally require manual filling and a separate rinse decision. Keep a bucket, sink or approved inlet connection available, and plan where wet clothing will sit while the wash tub is drained and the spinner is loaded.
5. Choose for your actual setting
- Apartment: prioritize pump options or a confirmed bathtub/sink drain path, plus a way to control splashing.
- RV: verify available water connections, drain routing, storage clearance and the machine’s operating weight.
- Dorm or bedroom: favor smaller capacities and a location where vibration and hose discharge will not damage flooring.
- Backup laundry: choose the capacity you can realistically fill, drain and lift; the largest headline number is not automatically the most convenient.
Comparable semi-automatic specifications
Two manufacturer-listed examples illustrate the specification pattern to look for when comparing any manual washer. Giantex lists two independent tubs, an 18-lb wash capacity, an 8-lb spin capacity, 280 W washing power, 140 W spin power, a 27.5 × 16 × 32-inch footprint, a 53-inch drain pipe and three knobs. Its description says the tubs can work together or separately. Costway lists the same 18-lb wash and 8-lb spin split, 280 W wash and 140 W spin motors, a 0–15-minute wash timer, a 0–5-minute spin timer, a lint filter and a built-in drainage pump. These figures are examples of how a detailed listing should separate wash, spin, timing and drainage information; they are not additional entries in the eight-model ranking above.
Limitations and buying cautions
- No independent, audited source establishes repair rates, service life, water consumption or energy savings for these models.
- Marketplace prices, stock, warranties and included accessories can change, so recheck them immediately before purchase.
- Do not treat a seller’s “tested,” “reliable” or “durable” wording as an independent laboratory result.
- Before operation, secure the drain hose, keep the machine level, observe the stated load limits and test the setup for leaks.
Bottom line
For most buyers seeking mechanical controls, start with Erivess because its separate wash and spin capacities are clearly stated and its twin-tub layout is straightforward. Choose INTERGREAT when a drain pump is the deciding installation feature, SUPER DEAL or ZenStyle for genuinely small loads, and Auertech only after confirming its separate tub capacities and available floor space. Every option trades automation for portability and hands-on handling, so the best choice is the one whose drain path, capacity split and operating footprint fit your room.
