IT Home reported its JD.com presale launch in September 2024. The S1’s reported 26-minute quick-cook feature is not enough to establish a time for every batch, and Xiaomi’s similarly named global 3L cooker is not confirmed to be the same model.
What Xiaomi’s Mijia IH Rice Cooker S1 offers
IT Home’s September 14, 2024 launch report describes the S1 as a 3L cooker with IH 3D heating, 1000W high-power heating, and 360-degree boiling. It also reports a 2.0 mm inner pot. These are launch-report specifications, not results from independent testing. IT Home’s launch report is the source for the S1-specific details.
The report lists eight functions: fine rice, quick rice, congee, keep warm, steam, reheating, cake, and soup. The list describes the modes reported for the China-market S1; it should not be assumed to match every Xiaomi 3L cooker sold in other regions.
How to interpret the 26-minute quick-cook claim
IT Home reported a 26-minute quick-cook feature for the S1, but its report does not establish that this timing applies to every quantity or cooking condition. Separately, Xiaomi’s global Multifunctional IH Rice Cooker 3L page says its Quick Rice mode takes 26 minutes for one cup, equivalent to two bowls, and notes that actual time can vary with the amount, environment, and ingredients. That manufacturer-stated timing belongs to the global-page product; the available product information does not confirm that it is the S1.

Xiaomi also says it tested its temperature curve and used more than 3,000 types of rice in developing a temperature program. Those are manufacturer statements about development, not a claim of independent testing or 3,000 consumer trials.
The S1 and Xiaomi’s global 3L cooker are not confirmed as the same model
The product names and capacity are similar, but the function counts differ. Xiaomi’s global page lists six functions, while IT Home’s S1 report lists eight. Without an exact matching model number or regional Xiaomi documentation, treat these as separate products rather than combining their specifications.

Launch price versus the catalog price
IT Home reported a JD.com presale price of RMB 299 when the S1 launch was announced on September 14, 2024; final payment was scheduled for September 25, 2024. Those are historical launch-period details, not a current offer. Xiaomi’s Chinese catalog displayed a starting price of RMB 349 for the S1 when accessed on October 8, 2026. The catalog figure does not establish current pricing or availability elsewhere. Xiaomi’s Chinese catalog listing is the source for that displayed price.
