Xiaomi’s OCooker Multipurpose Electric Cooker was reported as a compact 400 ml appliance that moved from crowdfunding in 2018 to open sale in China in 2020. Coverage described a detachable pot, adjustable heat and seven cooking modes; the reported price was 199 yuan at the time, not a current quote.
From crowdfunding to open sale in China
A March 2018 report described the OCooker as a crowdfunding product on Xiaomi’s platform and listed it at 199 yuan. The listing was sold out when that report appeared, and the report did not establish when it would return or whether it would reach buyers outside China. Gizmochina’s March 2018 coverage documents that early stage.
In 2020, coverage reported that the cooker had moved to open sale in China through Xiaomi Youpin. The 199-yuan figure was again reported as its China-market price at that time. These are historical launch and pricing details; the reports do not establish current stock, current pricing or distribution beyond China. Gizmochina’s 2020 report covered the open-sale announcement.

Compact capacity and removable pot
The reported capacity was 400 ml. The design separated the pot from the heating surface, allowing the pot to be detached. The cooking surface was described as 304 stainless steel. The report also specified a 2.0 mm aluminum heating surface with a two-layer coating.

The 2020 coverage described heat retention, adjustable heat intensity and seven cooking modes. These are specifications reported in news coverage, not independently verified performance results. The source did not provide a mode-by-mode list or explain how heat settings were controlled.
What the announcement does—and does not—establish
The reports identify the OCooker as a specific Xiaomi product and describe its reported features and China launch history. They do not establish present-day availability, a current price, international distribution, safety certification or hands-on cooking results. The historical Xiaomi Youpin listing should not be taken as evidence that the appliance can still be purchased there.
