Xiaomi launched the Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 3C in China in August 2024, with sales reported to begin on September 5. The cordless stick vacuum lists a maximum suction rating of 120AW, a claimed runtime of up to 60 minutes, an anti-tangle motorized floor brush, green dust-detection lighting, and several handheld attachments. Its reported introductory price was 799 yuan, reduced from 899 yuan.
Those prices and sales details apply to the Chinese launch. An official US launch, US MSRP, and US warranty channel were not verified, so American buyers should treat the 3C as a China-market product that may require importing.

Xiaomi’s launch materials placed the Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 3C at 899 yuan, with an introductory price of 799 yuan. Pre-sale coverage appeared in August 2024, and sales were reported to start in China at 8 p.m. on September 5 through Xiaomi and associated retail channels.
The original yuan prices are historical Chinese launch prices, not a current US retail price. Importers must also account for international shipping, taxes, retailer margins, plug compatibility, returns, and warranty support. Launch reports from IT之家 and Gizmochina provide the main figures. Some reseller listings additionally describe a 250W motor, but motor wattage should not be confused with suction power.
What the 120AW rating means
The 3C’s headline specification is its maximum suction rating of 120 air watts. Air watts combine airflow and suction pressure into a measurement used by some vacuum manufacturers. They are not directly equivalent to kilopascals, motor wattage, or another brand’s proprietary suction score.
The 120AW figure should therefore be read as a maximum specification rather than a guarantee of cleaning performance. It does not show how effectively the vacuum picks up embedded debris from carpet, how well it maintains airflow as the filter loads, or how long it sustains peak output. The available launch evidence does not establish independent laboratory testing of the 3C’s pickup performance, noise, or sustained suction.
Likewise, a motor speed of up to 100,000 rpm is a supporting engineering claim, not a direct measurement of cleaning effectiveness.

Floor cleaning and visibility features
The main floor head uses a motorized soft roller designed to reduce hair tangling. That design may be useful in homes with long hair or pets, but “anti-tangle” does not mean maintenance-free. Hair, thread, and fur can still wrap around a roller, particularly after repeated use.
A 140-degree green light projects ahead of the floor head to make fine dust easier to see on hard floors and in dim areas. Xiaomi reportedly says the system can reveal up to 15 times more dust. That is a Xiaomi marketing claim, not an independently verified performance result. The light improves visibility and cleaning coverage; it does not increase suction.

The head is also reported to support approximately 180 degrees of movement, allowing the vacuum to lie flatter beneath beds, sofas, cabinets, and other low furniture. The detachable handheld configuration extends the cleaner to furniture, upholstery, curtains, car interiors, mattresses, and narrow gaps.

Runtime: read “up to 60 minutes” carefully
Xiaomi advertises up to approximately 60 minutes of runtime under its stated conditions. That headline figure is most relevant to the lowest-power, long-lasting mode and should not be interpreted as 60 minutes of turbo cleaning with the motorized floor head.
Runtime changes with suction mode, powered attachments, floor type, battery condition, and the age of the battery. A reseller listing gives shorter estimates of roughly 20 minutes in standard mode and 12 minutes in turbo mode, but those figures are not official Xiaomi specifications and may apply to a particular package or test method.

Do not assume that the 3C has a particular HEPA grade or filtration percentage without model-specific documentation. Filters still require inspection and maintenance. Buyers seeking wet cleaning or automated floor cleaning should look elsewhere: this is neither a wet-dry cleaner nor a robot vacuum. The name “3C” can also cause confusion with unrelated Xiaomi robot-vacuum products, so verify that the listing specifically identifies the Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 3C.

- Whether the seller ships to your country.
- The final landed cost, including shipping, taxes, and fees.

Mijia 3C versus Mijia 4C
The Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 3C should not be confused with the newer Mijia Vacuum Cleaner 4C listed on Xiaomi’s global website. The 4C advertises up to 170AW of suction, up to 75 minutes of Eco-mode runtime, and five-stage filtration. Those figures belong to the 4C, not the 3C.
The global 4C page may be a more relevant starting point for readers seeking a newer Mijia model with a global-facing product page, but it still does not by itself prove US pricing, stock, or local support.
Verdict
On paper, the Xiaomi Mijia Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 3C combines a strong claimed suction figure with useful everyday features: a motorized soft roller, dust-visibility lighting, handheld conversion, lay-flat access, and a dedicated upholstery brush. Its reported Chinese launch pricing also positioned it as a budget-oriented alternative.

The 60-minute runtime is a low-power maximum, the 120AW rating is not an independent cleaning test, the 15-times dust-visibility statement is promotional, and local parts and warranty support may be difficult to verify. For shoppers who prioritize dependable regional service or tested carpet performance, a locally supported cordless vacuum is the safer choice.
