The viral HomeGoods ghost blanket was a pink-and-white Cupcakes and Cashmere throw, but its return to stores in 2026 has not been confirmed. The available report documents it in HomeGoods’ 2023 Halloween assortment—not a current restock.
What was the viral HomeGoods ghost blanket?
It was a pink-and-white ghost-print throw by Cupcakes and Cashmere, reported at 50 x 60 inches. Apartment Therapy covered it on July 23, 2023, as part of HomeGoods’ Halloween assortment. Apartment Therapy’s 2023 report is the source for the product details below.
Why did it go viral?
Apartment Therapy reported that creator Grace (@beautybygracex) posted the blanket with the caption, “I am sooo ready for fall and Halloween decor.” Four days later, the article counted more than 48,200 likes and 258,000 views on the video. Those are figures reported in 2023, not current totals or independently verified platform analytics.
The article also quoted commenters saying, “Not me about to hop in my car and go to Homegoods” and “I love fall, I love Halloween, I need this.” These are individual reactions, not evidence of broader demand.

Is the same blanket back at HomeGoods in 2026?
A return of this exact Cupcakes and Cashmere throw has not been confirmed. The existence of other ghost-print blankets does not establish that this item is back: TikTok Shop search results include a separate Truly Soft Cozy Ghost Reversible 50 x 70 Throw, which is not evidence of HomeGoods stock or the same product. TikTok Shop’s indexed results show distinct listings, not a HomeGoods restock.
