3. Wolf Gourmet Precision Electric Griddle: best high-end model

Good Housekeeping found the 07061 performed comparably to the Presto Tilt-N-Fold in its testing and gave the 07061 credit for its larger 22-inch surface. However, it was not selected as one of that review’s four leading picks. Reviewed separately reported inconsistent heating on a Presto 22-inch model, while TechGearLab named a Presto Ceramic 22-Inch Electric its best-buy griddle and praised its cooking area and cleanup.
Those results must not be merged casually. The Presto 07061, Presto Tilt-N-Fold 07073, and Presto Ceramic 22-Inch are closely related product categories but are not necessarily the same appliance. Confirm the exact model number, plate material, handle design, and control layout in the listing before applying any review result to your purchase.

Compare usable cooking surface, not exterior size
A large exterior footprint does not always mean a proportionally larger cooking area. The leading models span roughly 17-by-12 inches to 22-by-12 inches, and the shape matters as much as the measurements. A long, narrow surface may suit bacon and pancakes, while a wider surface can make it easier to separate foods or cook several burgers at once.
Decide whether you need grease management
A drip tray or drain opening is valuable for bacon, sausage, burgers, and other fatty foods. The Wolf and many budget models provide some form of grease collection.
