How this relates to earlier Harbour ward allegations
In a separate report published June 28, 2026, The Times of India reported the mayor’s allegations concerning a Rajiv Gandhi Awas Yojana (RGAY) apartment project in Harbour ward, within Vizhinjam zonal limits. The report attributed to him claims of large-scale irregularities, structural defects within four years of completion, and a project cost of Rs 91 crore. What would clarify the case
The next substantive information would be the inspection’s documented findings: which defects were observed, their extent, whether they affect structural safety, and what corrective or safety actions are recommended.
