Samsung announced its 2026 Bespoke AI appliance range in December 2025, ahead of CES 2026 in Las Vegas. CES ran from January 6–9, 2026; it was a showcase of the lineup, not the original announcement date.
Selected kitchen products are now available in the United States, including refrigerators, slide-in ranges, and microwaves. Other products—including the upgraded Laundry Combo, AirDresser, Jet Bot Steam Ultra, and WindFree Pro air conditioner—remain dependent on market, model, and regional rollout.

What Samsung actually announced
“2026 Bespoke AI” describes a broad family of connected Samsung appliances rather than one single product launch. Samsung announced its connected-living products on December 17, 2025, and its kitchen lineup, including a Gemini-enhanced refrigerator experience, on December 23, 2025.
The products fall into two groups:
- Kitchen: Bespoke AI refrigerators, an AI Wine Cellar, Smart Slide-in Ranges, an Over-the-Range Microwave with Air Fry Max, and a Bespoke Double Wall Oven.
- Connected living: the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, AI AirDresser, WindFree Pro air conditioner, and AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum.
Samsung displayed several of these products at CES, but a CES demonstration does not establish immediate U.S. retail availability. Samsung’s April 9, 2026 announcement confirmed that selected kitchen products had become available through Samsung.com and selected U.S. retailers.

The refrigerator is the main AI story
AI Vision with Google Gemini
The refreshed Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub uses an upgraded AI Vision system that Samsung says can recognize more food items than earlier versions. Previous AI Vision functionality could identify up to 37 types of fresh food and 50 types of processed food that had been manually registered. Samsung says the 2026 system is intended to expand recognition and reduce manual registration for processed foods.
That does not mean Gemini makes the refrigerator autonomous. Gemini is described as part of the vision-based food-recognition experience. Recognition, recommendations, voice interaction, and automatic appliance control are different capabilities.
Food recognition can also be imperfect. Packaging may be hidden, leftovers may be stored in opaque containers, lighting can vary, and food may be moved without the system knowing. Samsung’s product information indicates that users may still need to register food and expiration dates through the AI Family Hub screen.
Family Hub features
The CES demonstrations included AI Vision food management, voice interaction, Samsung’s Now Brief personalized overview, Voice ID for distinguishing family members, and SmartThings integration. These features may be useful in a household that already uses Samsung phones, calendars, SmartThings routines, or meal-planning tools.
They are less compelling if you want a conventional refrigerator with minimal software. A Family Hub model also introduces screens, microphones, user profiles, cloud-connected features, and a Samsung account into an appliance that traditionally required none of them.
Zero Clearance Fit: useful, but not universal
Samsung’s Bespoke AI 3-Door French Door Refrigerator with Zero Clearance Fit is intended to let the doors open closer to surrounding walls or cabinetry. U.S. models include 24-cubic-foot counter-depth and 29-cubic-foot full-depth configurations, with selected models offering Sphere Ice and an external Tall Water & Ice Dispenser. Finishes include Stainless Steel and Matte Black Steel.
U.S. pricing for qualifying refrigerator models starts at $2,799, although the exact price depends on the model and configuration.
“Zero clearance” does not mean the refrigerator fits every kitchen opening. Before ordering, verify:
- Cabinet opening width and height.
- Door-swing and hinge clearance.
- Whether adjacent cabinets interfere with handles, bins, or drawers.
- Depth with doors and handles installed.
- Counter-depth versus full-depth capacity.
- Water-line, electrical, and ventilation requirements.
- The delivery path through doors, hallways, and stairways.
AutoView illuminated-glass refrigerator models were shown as later-2026 products rather than immediate launches. The exact model number matters more than the “2026 Bespoke AI” label.
Ranges, microwaves, and other kitchen products
Bespoke Smart Slide-in Ranges
The new slide-in ranges focus more on cooking features, controls, and design than on a major new AI function. Samsung identifies:

- True Convection.
- Air Sous Vide.
- A pro-style handle and controls.
- A soft-close door.
- Illuminated stainless-steel knobs.
- Gas and electric versions.
- A gas power burner rated up to 23,000 BTU.
- An electric power burner rated up to 3.6 kW.
- Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel, Matte Black, and White Glass finishes.
U.S. pricing starts at $1,349. Fuel type, electrical requirements, ventilation, installation, and local code compliance remain important constraints.
Over-the-Range Microwave with Air Fry Max
The matching microwave adds Air Fry Max and Auto Connectivity. Samsung says its fan and lighting can activate automatically when the cooktop is started. That convenience requires compatible Samsung appliances; it is not universal interoperability.
For a kitchen renovation, confirm the microwave’s mounting height, electrical circuit, ventilation configuration, and relationship to the range before selecting the appliance package.
Wine Cellar and Double Wall Oven
The Bespoke AI Wine Cellar and Bespoke Double Wall Oven were part of Samsung’s CES kitchen showcase. They should be treated separately from the kitchen products Samsung confirmed as available in the United States. Pricing and exact U.S. availability were not established in the supplied announcements.

Laundry and home-care products
Bespoke AI Laundry Combo
The 2026 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo is an upgraded all-in-one washer-dryer, not a new appliance category. Samsung identifies a faster Super Speed cycle, High-pressure Speed Spray, a Booster Heat Exchanger for drying, Auto Open Door+ for post-cycle air circulation, and AI Wash & Dry+.
The system uses weight sensing to optimize water and detergent and can detect five fabric types, including Outdoor and Denim. Samsung also lists real-time soil monitoring and a wider one-touch lint filter. Two control configurations are planned: a version with a 7-inch LCD and a lower-cost version with a 2.8-inch LCD and jog dial.
Samsung says the 2026 combo will roll out in select markets during 2026. Specifications and availability vary by region and model.
The key buying decision is not simply whether the cycle is faster. An all-in-one machine offers:

- BEVERAGE CENTER: Quick access to refreshingly cool, filtered water two ways. Choose from an internal dispenser or a built-in pitcher that automatically refills, with the option to infuse with a flavor.
- DUAL ICE MAKER WITH ICE BITES: Enjoy your favorite beverage with your choice of ice. Select from cubed ice or Ice Bites that chill your drink faster.
- FLEXZONE DRAWER: The FlexZone Drawer is customizable with 5 different temperature settings. From french door refrigerator to soft freeze, this middle drawer can store everything from fruit and vegetables to your favorite meat & seafood.
- MODERN DESIGN: Flat panel door design with easy-to-open recessed handles blends into your cabinetry to give you a modern built-in-look.
- WiFi CONNECTIVITY: Wi-Fi connectivity on your fridge isn’t just a nice-to-have. It’s essential for safety and energy conservation. You’ll get immediate notifications if the temperature drops due to a power outage or if you accidentally leave the door open.
- Advantages: one appliance, no transfer between washer and dryer, and a useful solution where floor space is limited.
- Trade-offs: sequential loads, a single point of failure, potentially different drying performance from a dedicated dryer, and market-specific service or replacement constraints.
Advertised cycle improvements do not establish that the combo can process multiple household loads faster than separate full-size machines. Households running continuous laundry may still be better served by separate appliances.
Bespoke AI AirDresser
The upgraded AirDresser adds Auto Wrinkle Care, Dual AirWash, Dual JetSteam, intelligent drying for small, medium, and large loads, a One Body Door, a 2.8-inch LCD, and Auto Cycle Link with the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo.
Samsung claims that its steam system can reduce 99.9% of certain viruses and bacteria and 99% of unpleasant odors. Those are manufacturer claims with qualifications; they should not be interpreted as universal disinfection results.
An AirDresser is a garment-refreshing and care appliance. It is not a replacement for a washing machine or professional dry cleaning for every fabric, stain, or garment.

Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra
The premium robot vacuum uses a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor, AI Object Recognition, and AI Liquid Recognition. Samsung says it can identify people, cats, dogs, cables, and rugs, while allowing the user to choose whether the robot cleans or avoids detected spills.
Easy Pass Wheel technology is claimed to let the robot cross thresholds up to 2.4 inches high. That specification still needs to be checked against the actual transitions in a home.
Obstacle recognition is valuable only when it works reliably under real conditions. Cables, reflective surfaces, dark objects, pet messes, low furniture, and changing light can all create edge cases. Liquid recognition does not guarantee safe handling of every spill or pet accident.
Bespoke AI WindFree Pro air conditioner
The WindFree Pro is particularly region-sensitive and should not automatically be treated as a U.S. consumer product. Samsung highlights three blades, seven tailored wind modes, Max Wind, Surround Wind, Long Reach Wind, Down Wind, radar-based AI Direct and Indirect Wind, AI Fast & Comfort Cooling, and AI Energy Mode.
Samsung claims up to 30% lower energy consumption, 15% faster cooling with Max Wind, and twice the cooling distance with Long Reach Wind. These are company claims that require model-specific and independent testing context.

Samsung uses AI as an umbrella term for several different technologies:
- Recognition: identifying food, fabric types, objects, pets, rugs, or liquids.
- Sensor-based optimization: adjusting water, detergent, drying, airflow, or cooling behavior based on detected conditions.
- Recommendations: suggesting cycles, settings, recipes, or personalized information.
- Remote control: monitoring or starting appliances through SmartThings.
- Automation: linking compatible devices through predefined routines.
- Generative or conversational AI: natural-language interaction or Gemini-assisted interpretation.
These capabilities generally depend on the exact model, software version, language, region, Wi-Fi connection, SmartThings app, and Samsung account. A household should not assume that every “AI” feature works on every Bespoke appliance or without connectivity.
How the Samsung ecosystem works
Samsung’s broader “Home Companion” strategy connects appliances through SmartThings, Bixby, Family Hub, AI Home screens, cross-device routines, status notifications, remote control, and energy-management features.

Samsung says a user could issue a conversational command through a laundry appliance to start a robot vacuum or turn on an air purifier. In practice, this requires compatible devices, a Samsung account, Wi-Fi, the SmartThings app, and support for the relevant feature in that region.
The ecosystem is most attractive to households already invested in Samsung phones, SmartThings, or other Samsung appliances. It is less attractive to buyers who want cross-brand compatibility, offline simplicity, or minimal data collection. Cameras, microphones, voice profiles, food inventories, and household routines create a broader privacy footprint than conventional appliances.

Who should buy—and who should wait
Consider buying now if:
- You are remodeling and a specific hardware feature solves a real problem, such as door clearance, integrated cooking controls, or limited laundry space.
- You already use SmartThings and value cross-device routines.
- You want a Family Hub screen, food-recognition features, or Samsung’s connected household tools.
- You have confirmed local delivery, installation, parts, and service support.
Consider a simpler or competing product if:
- You want the lowest upfront cost.
- You prefer physical controls and no microphones, cameras, or screens.
- You need maximum laundry throughput from multiple simultaneous loads.
- You need guaranteed compatibility across brands.
- You are uncomfortable with account, Wi-Fi, cloud, or software dependencies.
- Your local Samsung appliance service coverage is limited.
Before buying, check the exact model number, installation drawings, door swing, electrical and gas requirements, water connections, ventilation, delivery route, warranty, and replacement-parts support. “Bespoke AI” is not a substitute for those specifications.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteBottom line
Samsung’s 2026 Bespoke AI range is most notable for extending connected intelligence beyond voice commands: food recognition in refrigerators, sensor-guided laundry, garment refreshing, obstacle and liquid recognition in robot vacuums, and linked routines across the home.
The strongest buying case is a specific practical improvement—not the word “AI.” Selected kitchen products are available in the United States now, while several CES-previewed products remain market- or model-dependent. Buy when the hardware, installation fit, service support, and ecosystem benefits make sense; wait when pricing, availability, independent testing, or long-term software support remain unclear.
