Yes—Samsung’s Bespoke Jet Bot Combo became a real retail product in both markets, but Korea and the United States did not share the same clearly documented launch date. Samsung began selling the Korean-market Bespoke AI Steam on April 3, 2024. The U.S. version, listed as the Bespoke AI Jetbot Combo AI Steam, is commercially available through Samsung’s U.S. store, although the exact initial American launch day is not established by the available official announcements.
When did Samsung start selling it?
Samsung first previewed the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo at CES 2024, but its initial announcement described the robot as still in development. That matters: the CES unveiling was not the same thing as retail availability. Samsung later presented its 2024 Bespoke AI appliance range at a Seoul event on April 3, 2024, when sales of the Korean model began.

Korea and U.S. names are not identical
The global product is generally called the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo or Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI. In Korea, Samsung used the name Bespoke AI Steam. Samsung’s U.S. product page calls the American version the Bespoke AI Jetbot Combo AI Steam and identifies it as model VR7MD96514G/AA.

Those names may describe market-specific branding or configurations rather than one universally identical unit. Buyers should not assume that a Korean import and a U.S. model have the same voltage, app features, language support, accessories, replacement parts or warranty coverage.

Price and current U.S. buying status
Contemporary launch coverage reported Korean pricing at approximately ₩1,799,000, with Satin Greige and Satin Charcoal color options. That figure should not be converted directly into a supposed U.S. equivalent because taxes, distribution, promotions and regional pricing differ. Contemporary pricing report
Samsung’s U.S. product page listed the VR7MD96514G/AA at $1,399.99 when checked August 16–18, 2026. This is a current listed-price snapshot, not verified evidence of the original American launch MSRP. Price, stock, bundles and discounts can change. Check Samsung’s current U.S. listing
What the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo does
The product combines a robot vacuum, wet mop and automated cleaning station. Samsung says its AI system can recognize spaces such as kitchens and living rooms, identify dirty areas and suggest no-go zones. It also describes recognition of objects including people, pets, cables, rugs and mats.
The U.S. listing highlights LiDAR navigation, while Samsung’s launch material refers to AI recognition and 3D sensing. The robot can detect floor types and adjust its carpet behavior by lifting the mop or returning the mop to the station, depending on the configuration and selected cleaning mode.

- AUTOMATIC EMPTYING WITH CLEANSTATION: A convenient, no-touch, hygienic way to empty your robot vacuum’s dustbin; Clean Station removes dust using Air Pulse technology

- Automatic dustbin emptying
- Automatic clean-water supply for mopping
- Mop-pad washing
- Steam treatment and hot-air drying
AI recognition is not infallible. Samsung says recognition relies on trained or predefined data, so the robot may miss, misidentify or fail to safely avoid an object.
How the cleaning station treats the mop pads
Samsung describes a three-stage maintenance process:
- Wash: the station cleans the mop pads with hot water.
- Steam: it applies steam as a treatment Samsung markets as sterilization.
- Dry: hot air dries the pads before the next cleaning cycle.
The station reduces routine work, but it does not make ownership maintenance-free. Owners still need to handle dirty water, refill supplies, empty or replace dust bags as required, clean filters, inspect brushes and replace consumables such as mop pads.

Connectivity requirements
Samsung’s U.S. catalog materials indicate that the robot is designed to use a wireless network, Samsung account and SmartThings app. Exact operating-system support and feature availability may vary by software version and region, so buyers should check the current manual and product documentation before purchase. This ecosystem is an advantage for households already using Samsung connected appliances. It is a drawback for buyers who do not want an account-based, cloud-connected appliance. Learn more about the platform at Samsung SmartThings.
Practical limitations to consider
A premium robot vacuum still needs a suitable home. Thick thresholds, high-pile rugs, reflective furniture, black surfaces, loose cables and heavy clutter can challenge navigation. Large liquid spills and pet accidents should be handled by a person rather than assumed to be safe for an AI robot.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsCarpet owners should confirm how the specific regional model handles mop lifting, mop removal and carpet avoidance. A robot also cannot replace manual cleaning on stairs, upholstery, inaccessible edges or heavily soiled areas. Steam and hot-water functions may add energy use and more components to maintain.

How it compares with premium alternatives
The relevant comparison is not simply Samsung versus one brand. It is Samsung’s ecosystem and station design against the exact current model from each competitor:
- Roborock: compare navigation, mop washing and drying, carpet handling, app controls, parts and independent testing. Roborock U.S.
- Dreame: compare obstacle avoidance, edge cleaning, station automation, warranty and consumable availability. Dreame
- Ecovacs: compare the specific Deebot’s recognition, navigation, reliability history and support terms. Ecovacs
- Narwal: consider it particularly if automated mopping and mop care matter more than broad vacuuming capability or carpet behavior. Narwal U.S.
There is no basis here to call Samsung the best cleaner. Current competitor prices and performance were not verified, so compare same-generation models rather than relying on brand-level assumptions.
Do not confuse it with the 2026 Ultra
Samsung later announced the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra for CES 2026. That is a newer model with additional object and liquid recognition and improved threshold-climbing hardware. It should not be treated as the same product as the 2024 Bespoke Jet Bot Combo. Samsung’s CES 2026 announcement

Who should consider buying it?
The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo makes the most sense for a buyer who already values Samsung SmartThings, wants a combined vacuum-and-mop system, and is willing to pay a premium for automated dust disposal and mop-pad care.
Compare alternatives first if independent cleaning tests, lower pricing, edge performance, third-party servicing or a non-Samsung ecosystem are more important. Buyers considering the newer Steam Ultra should also compare its features and availability rather than assuming the 2024 model is Samsung’s latest option.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Samsung did begin selling the Korean Bespoke AI Steam on April 3, 2024, and the corresponding U.S. Bespoke AI Jetbot Combo AI Steam is commercially listed at $1,399.99 as of August 2026. The product’s automated mop washing, steam treatment and drying are its main differentiators, but regional versions are not automatically interchangeable, Samsung’s bacteria claims require qualification, and the robot still needs regular human maintenance.
