1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYes, a consumer robot can now fold household laundry—but Weave Robotics’ Isaac 0 is not fully autonomous. It folds garments on its own when possible, then lets a remote Weave specialist briefly take over when the robot encounters a difficult item or makes a mistake. Weave describes interventions of roughly 5–10 seconds. The result is best understood as supervised autonomy, not a human-free appliance.
What robot is this?
The product is Weave Robotics’ Isaac 0, a stationary machine designed specifically for folding and sorting clean laundry. It has a fixed base, central structure, two arms, cameras and other sensors, and an internet connection for software updates and remote assistance. Unlike a mobile humanoid, it is built around one bounded task and a dedicated worktable.
Weave says Isaac 0 is shipping in limited quantities to California residents as of August 18, 2026. Its order page listed an estimated four-to-six-week delivery window for California orders.
How remote human help works
- You wash and dry the clothes, then place clean laundry in Isaac 0’s working area.
- The robot identifies a garment and attempts to spread, manipulate and fold it autonomously.
- If it encounters an unfamiliar or difficult configuration, the system requests assistance.
- A remote Weave specialist views the robot’s head and wrist camera feeds plus diagnostic information.
- The specialist performs a short correction, or “sub-in,” and control returns to the robot.
- Weave says corrections can contribute to future model and system improvements.
Weave says no audio data is collected for this assistance process. The company does not publicly establish how often operators intervene, how quickly help is normally available, how many robots one operator can support, or how long video and diagnostic data are retained.

- PP composite material is with better toughness, anti-aging, more than 3-year service life.
- Solve the family's troubles that too many T-shirts, sweaters, dresses, towels, pants and other clothes need to be folded.
- No assembly required, 2 silicone buckles firmly connect panels. Even if there is a severe collision, the shirt folder will not fall apart.
- Both adults and children can operate with one hand, making it convenient and simple to fold clothes. The shirt folding board can easily organize the entire wardrobe without too many steps.
- The folded size is 9"x11.4" and 1.3 pounds. Clothes folders can be easily stored in a drawer or a suitcase. The unfolded size is 27.16"x22.44", and clothes of different sizes can be folded.
Three terms that are easy to confuse
- Teleoperation: a person directly controls or guides the robot.
- Teleoperation assistance: a person intervenes only when the autonomous system needs correction.
- Supervised autonomy: the robot normally acts independently but remains backed by a human service.
Isaac 0 fits the second and third descriptions. Calling it a robot that never needs human involvement would be misleading; saying a remote person folds every item would also overstate the available evidence.
How autonomous is the folding?
There is no published, standardized autonomy percentage for all household laundry. Weave says T-shirts, shorts and long-sleeved clothing are often folded almost entirely autonomously, while other garments need more assistance. The proportion varies with garment type and with how much similar laundry the system has previously handled. The company’s stated goal is for most loads to run from start to finish without intervention as the system gains experience.
Weave estimates that an average load takes 30–90 minutes, depending on load size and garment mix. That is a company estimate, not an independently verified benchmark, and the public product page does not define an average load by weight or item count.
What can Isaac 0 fold?
Weave lists the following garments and household textiles as handled or being learned:

Large blankets are specifically not yet supported. “Nearly anything” should therefore be treated as marketing language rather than a guarantee for every fabric, shape or mixed load. The cited product material does not establish reliable performance for tangled or inside-out clothing, delicate fabrics, heavy jeans, stretch garments, straps and ties, damp items, or every combination of towels and clothing.
Weave says socks may be grouped and clothes may be turned right-side out, but it does not promise perfect sorting or reliable matching of every pair.
What the owner still has to do
Isaac 0 does not wash or dry clothes and is not presented as a complete closet-management appliance. The owner must:
- Wash and dry the laundry.
- Carry it to the robot and present it within the working area.
- Provide a large, stable table and keep the operating zone clear.
- Maintain Ethernet or Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Collect the folded stacks and put clothes away.
Weave says installation can be completed in an afternoon, the machine uses a regular U.S. wall outlet and it can work unattended for hours once set up. Unattended operation still depends on power, network access, safe clearance and the availability of remote assistance when required.

Space, power and connectivity requirements
| Requirement | Published specification |
|---|---|
| Robot footprint | 18 × 19 inches |
| Adjustable height | 2 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches |
| Recommended table | 48 × 30 inches |
| Approximate operating area | 6 × 5 feet, including the table |
| Power | 600 W |
| Electrical input | 120 V, U.S. |
| Network | Ethernet or 2.4 GHz/5 GHz Wi-Fi |
The footprint alone understates the commitment: buyers need both the machine and enough floor space for a worktable, garment spreading and operator clearance. Pets, children, poor lighting, an unstable table or laundry falling beyond the table can all create operating problems that the public product page does not quantify.
Isaac 0 versus Isaac 1
Isaac 1 is Weave’s planned mobile successor. It is advertised as a broader home robot, but it remains a preorder product relative to Isaac 0.
| Feature | Isaac 0 | Isaac 1 |
|---|---|---|
| Status on August 18, 2026 | Limited California shipping | Preorder |
| Form | Stationary laundry-folding machine | Mobile home robot |
| Advertised work | Fold and sort clean laundry | Find dirty clothes, handle hampers, fold and put clothes away; also reset rooms |
| Remote assistance | Yes, when needed | Yes, when needed |
| Price shown by Weave | $249/month, or $3,999 upfront plus $49/month | $449/month, or $7,999 upfront; optional $99/month premium membership |
| Delivery plan | California orders; four-to-six-week estimate on the order page | California deliveries planned for fall 2026; broader U.S. availability planned through 2027 |
| Workspace | Dedicated table and approximately 6 × 5 feet | Designed to navigate the home |
Isaac 1’s Laundry Flow and Daily Reset capabilities are company claims about a forthcoming product, not proof that every advertised function has been validated in ordinary homes. Weave’s pre-order agreement says specifications and delivery timing may change and that a reservation does not obligate the company to deliver a device.

Weave’s Isaac 0 order page showed two home plans on August 18, 2026:
Rank #4

- Reclaim Your Time on Laundry Day: The essential clothes folding board tool for busy parents, students, and professionals. Fold faster and bring instant order to any laundry routine
- Versatile for Most Clothing Types: More than just a tshirt folder—the laundry folder works effectively with dress shirts, sweaters, polos, pants, and more, making it an all-in-one laundry solution
- Subscription: $249 per month with no upfront device cost.
- Upfront plan: $3,999, followed by $49 per month. Weave says this option includes priority delivery and a two-year warranty.
- Reservation: a $250 payment described as refundable; confirm the current terms before ordering.
Simple first-year arithmetic gives $2,988 for 12 subscription payments, or $4,587 for $3,999 plus 12 payments of $49, before tax or other charges. Those figures are not a total-cost-of-ownership analysis. Electricity, internet service, room space, potential repairs, cancellation rules and out-of-warranty costs still matter. Weave says installation and ongoing support are included, while the order page ties warranty coverage to an active subscription.
Whether Isaac 0 is economical depends on laundry volume and the local alternatives: folding clothes yourself, paying a wash-and-fold or folding service, or hiring household help. No payback period can be established without local labor prices, workload and intervention assumptions.
Privacy, reliability and service questions
Remote assistance means a specialist can view task-related camera feeds from inside the home. Weave says the operator sees head and wrist cameras and diagnostics and that no audio is collected. Before buying, ask for current answers to questions the public material does not fully resolve:
- Can an operator see beyond the immediate work area?
- How long are camera images and diagnostics retained?
- Is assistance available 24/7, and what happens when no specialist is available?
- Does a network outage make the robot pause, retry or leave an item unfinished?
- What happens after a power interruption or a garment stuck in a gripper?
- Who is responsible for damaged clothing or property?
- Are remote interventions separately billed?
- What happens to service if Weave changes the software or stops operating the teleoperation program?
Weave says models and improvements are delivered over the air and described weekly model updates in its announcement; update frequency may change.

It may fit if
- Folding is a major, recurring burden.
- You live in the supported California market and can accept early-release limitations.
- You have a clear, stable 6 × 5-foot work area and suitable table.
- You accept remote access to task-related camera feeds.
- You value reducing hands-on time more than matching a person’s speed.
- You understand that an internet connection and occasional human intervention are part of the service.
Waiting is sensible if
- You expect complete autonomy or instant cycle times.
- You live outside California and need immediate delivery.
- You regularly wash blankets or unusual textiles.
- You lack room for the table and operating clearance.
- You want a one-time appliance purchase without recurring service costs.
- Your household produces too little laundry to justify the price.
- You are uncomfortable with remote operators viewing live task-related video.
Bottom line
Isaac 0 is a real, limited-availability product, not merely a laboratory folding demonstration. Its useful innovation is the combination of autonomous manipulation and short remote interventions. That design can make a difficult chore workable before robotics has solved every garment, but it also means the human labor, connectivity and service economics remain part of the product.
For an early adopter in California with substantial laundry, sufficient space and a high tolerance for an immature system, it may be worth considering. It is not yet established as a mass-market, fully autonomous replacement for laundry help. The most important unanswered buying question is how often people must intervene in real mixed loads and whether that remote-support model remains affordable at scale.
