Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Verdict: The Roborock Flexi Pro is an excellent cordless wet-and-dry floor washer for homes with mostly sealed hard floors, especially where kitchen spills and low furniture are daily problems. Its ability to operate nearly flat beneath beds, sofas and cabinets is genuinely useful, while hot-water roller washing and heated drying reduce routine cleanup. However, it is not a universal cordless vacuum: the mop cannot be switched off, it is unsuitable for carpet and upholstery, and self-cleaning does not eliminate manual maintenance. At the US sale price observed on August 16, 2026—$299.99, reduced from a listed $499.99—it is much easier to recommend than at full price.
What the Roborock Flexi Pro actually is
The Roborock Flexi Pro is best understood as a cordless hard-floor washer that also picks up dry debris. It vacuums crumbs, hair, dust and small food particles while washing the floor with water. It can also handle everyday liquid spills, muddy marks and damp kitchen messes.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
That description is more useful than calling it a conventional stick vacuum. The mop function cannot be disabled, and the box does not include the tools needed for sofas, stairs, car interiors or other above-floor cleaning. Independent testing by Tech Advisor likewise found that its wet-cleaning design makes it a poor substitute for a dry-only vacuum in carpet-heavy homes.
For a household with sealed tile, vinyl, suitable finished hardwood, laminate or similar damp-safe flooring, the Flexi Pro can combine two chores in one pass. For a home that needs one machine to clean floors, rugs, upholstery and stairs, it is the wrong category of product.

Why FlatReach is the Flexi Pro’s biggest advantage
The handle can be lowered so the cleaner operates in a near-horizontal position. Roborock calls this FlatReach. Unlike an ordinary upright floor washer that stops at the front edge of furniture, the Flexi Pro can slide beneath many beds, sofas, cabinets and shelving units.
This is the feature most likely to change how often you clean difficult areas. It is particularly practical in kitchens, where cabinet toe-kicks collect crumbs, and in living rooms where furniture is too low for a conventional machine head.
There are important qualifications:
- The furniture must provide enough clearance for the cleaning head and rotating handle.
- The head cannot overcome a solid obstruction or reach around furniture geometry.
- Roborock warns that usable dirty-water capacity is reduced when the machine is used flat, so extensive under-furniture cleaning may require earlier emptying.
- FlatReach does not prove that the cleaner reaches every corner or area beneath every piece of furniture.
Roborock’s official product information also claims side margins of less than 1 mm. That is an internal-testing claim, not a guarantee that every wall, corner, grout line or cabinet edge will be cleaned perfectly. In practice, cleaning directly alongside walls is a different challenge from reaching into an inside corner or removing residue from a recessed toe-kick.

The Flexi Pro is designed to pick up debris and wash at the same time. Roborock claims maximum suction of 17,000 Pa, tested internally under IEC 62885-2:2021/5.11. That number describes the manufacturer’s specification; it does not mean every stain disappears in one pass.
Independent testing supports strong everyday hard-floor performance. The practical results are best understood by mess type:
Dry crumbs, hair and food debris
The single roller can collect ordinary kitchen crumbs, dust, hair and small food particles while washing the floor. This is where the Flexi Pro makes the most sense: routine debris does not need to be vacuumed first and then mopped separately.
Liquid spills and damp dirt
Milk, water, muddy footprints and similar floor messes are natural jobs for a wet-and-dry cleaner. The roller collects the liquid while the machine lays down and recovers cleaning water.
It should not be treated as a general-purpose extractor for large quantities of standing water, blocked drains or flood cleanup. Water recovery depends on an unobstructed suction path, a correctly installed tank and filter, and a clean roller system.
Dried stains and grease
Dried food, sauce, grease and other sticky marks are more demanding. Use slower passes and, when necessary, Max mode or repeated passes. Independent testing found that difficult stains can require more than one pass and may leave residue that must be removed from the roller by hand afterward.
This distinction matters: the Flexi Pro may pick up a mess in one pass without completely removing the stain in one pass. Pickup, washing, drying and stain removal are related but different outcomes.
Pet messes
Everyday pet hair, muddy pawprints and damp floor messes fit the machine’s intended use. Protein-heavy or sticky messes—such as raw egg, thick sauce or similar residue—need more caution. Inspect the roller after cleaning and do not assume the automated dock has completely removed every contaminant.
Roller design and dirt sensing
The Flexi Pro uses one roller and Roborock’s RevoBrush 2.0 self-cleaning system. In Auto mode, its DirTect sensor is intended to detect dirt levels and adjust suction and water delivery. Roborock explains the feature in its DirTect support article.

- Easy to Install:Perfectly compatible and can be easily installed with the same method as the original parts. No additional tools are required. For optimal performance, replacing the brush rollers every 6 months is recommende
Auto is the sensible starting point for ordinary cleaning because it avoids running maximum power everywhere. Eco mode can conserve battery and water for lighter maintenance, while Max mode is better reserved for heavily soiled areas because it generally uses more of both.
The single-roller arrangement is also a trade-off. Roborock says the older Dyad Pro uses three rollers, while the Flexi Pro uses one roller alongside newer features such as FlatReach, SlideTech wheels, hot-water cleaning and heated drying. The single roller is not automatically a disadvantage for daily floor washing, but buyers should not assume the Flexi Pro is simply a Dyad Pro with a new handle.
Movement, controls and handling
Roborock equips the Flexi Pro with SlideTech wheels intended to assist movement when pushing and pulling. It also has an LED display, voice alerts, a headlight or searchlight feature, and controls on the handle.
Its listed weight varies by source. The US product listing gives 11.03 lb, approximately 5.0 kg, while Tech Advisor lists 4.8 kg. The difference may reflect regional configuration, measurement method or whether water and components are included. Neither figure should be treated as a precise loaded operating weight.
The machine’s assisted movement and flat operation are more important than the headline weight, but users still need to carry it to the dock, fill the clean-water tank and empty the dirty-water tank. A wet-dry washer is inherently more involved than a dry stick vacuum because it handles water after every cleaning session.
Self-cleaning and heated drying: helpful, not maintenance-free
The Flexi Pro’s dock automates much of the unpleasant part of wet-floor cleaning. According to Roborock, the roller is scraped and washed with water heated to 140°F (60°C), then dried with heated air at up to 131°F (55°C). The claimed drying cycle lasts 30 minutes, although actual time can vary.
The normal sequence is:
- Return the cleaner to its charging and drying dock.
- Ensure it has sufficient battery charge.
- Start the self-cleaning cycle.
- Allow the roller-washing and heated-drying process to finish.
- Empty and rinse the dirty-water tank.
- Inspect the roller and filter, particularly after sticky or heavily soiled messes.
Do not lift the cleaner during self-cleaning. Roborock says DirTect can trigger a deeper cleaning process if the roller remains dirty, but that still does not make the machine self-maintaining. Tech Advisor found that routine residue is handled reasonably well while some sticky food residue requires manual roller cleaning.

Water tanks, battery and noise
| Specification | Reported figure | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Clean-water tank | 0.73 L | May require refilling during larger or heavier cleaning jobs |
| Dirty-water tank | 0.45 L | Must be emptied and rinsed regularly; usable capacity is reduced in flat mode |
| Battery | 4,000 mAh | Supports the manufacturer’s runtime claim but does not define actual endurance alone |
| Maximum runtime | Up to 50 minutes | Manufacturer maximum under stated conditions, not a guaranteed Max-mode runtime |
| Charging time | About 4 hours | Long enough that large homes should plan cleaning sessions around charging |
| Maximum noise | 72 dB | Mode and measurement method affect the result; it should not simply be called quiet |
The tanks are relatively small and opaque, according to Tech Advisor, so it is harder to judge remaining capacity at a glance. The 50-minute figure and claimed coverage of 420 m² (4,520 sq. ft.) are Roborock specifications under its test conditions. Runtime changes with cleaning mode, dirt level, water output, floor type, technique, battery age and the demands of the cleaning cycle.
Large homes should judge the product by the amount of hard flooring they clean, how many passes they make and whether the machine will need to be recharged before the job is complete. It cannot provide corded-style continuous operation while its battery is charging.
Floor compatibility: where it works and where it does not
The safest use case is a sealed hard surface approved by the flooring manufacturer for damp cleaning. That generally includes sealed tile, vinyl and suitable finished hardwood, laminate and similar sealed surfaces. Always follow the flooring manufacturer’s instructions.

Avoid assuming the Flexi Pro is suitable for:
- Carpet and rugs.
- Unsealed wood.
- Surfaces that should not be wet-cleaned.
- Large amounts of standing water.
- Upholstery, stairs or vehicle interiors.
Because the mop cannot be turned off, carpets are particularly problematic. Independent coverage and testing warn that the wet roller may leave carpet or rugs wet or dirty. Keep a separate dry vacuum for carpet, stairs and above-floor work.
App and smart features
The Flexi Pro can perform its main floor-washing job without turning the app into the center of the experience. The Roborock app adds control over settings such as self-cleaning and drying timers, water temperature, suction power, cleaning modes, notifications and voice alerts.
That makes the app useful for owners who want to customize maintenance or receive status information, but it does not change the product’s fundamental limitation: this remains a wet hard-floor cleaner rather than a multi-surface vacuum system.
If the machine will not connect, Roborock’s troubleshooting guidance covers resetting Wi-Fi, checking signal strength, updating the app and reviewing router settings. The manual also describes a force-restart procedure involving a 10-second button hold. If it will not charge, clean the charging contacts on both the dock and machine and confirm that the unit is seated correctly.

Common problems and practical fixes
Odor after cleaning
Clean the roller, dirty-water tank and filter. An incomplete drying cycle, residue in the tank or a damp filter can all contribute to smell.
Water left on the floor or leakage
Check for a clogged dirty-water pipe, blocked suction outlet, blocked or wet filter, and incorrectly installed tank or filter. The official troubleshooting material is available in the Roborock manual attachment.
Too many bubbles
Use only the recommended cleaning product and the correct amount. Excess detergent can cause foaming and interfere with operation.
Sticky food remains on the roller
Run the automated cleaning cycle, then remove and wash the roller manually if residue remains. Do this promptly rather than storing the cleaner with food residue inside it.

Flexi Lite
The Roborock Flexi Lite is the same-brand lower-cost option, but the official listing gives it a smaller 2,500 mAh battery versus the Flexi Pro’s 4,000 mAh unit. Before choosing it, verify the current US price and whether it includes the Pro’s hot-water washing, heated drying, wheels, edge-cleaning behavior and FlatReach implementation. It is most logical for smaller homes or buyers who do not need the complete premium feature set.

Dyad Pro
Roborock’s comparison identifies several differences. The Dyad Pro shares the 17,000 Pa suction claim, DirTect and self-cleaning, but uses three rollers. The Flexi Pro adds FlatReach, searchlight illumination, hot-water self-cleaning, heated-air drying and SlideTech wheels.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
If under-furniture access and drying are central to your decision, the Flexi Pro is the more targeted design. If those features do not matter and the Dyad Pro is substantially cheaper, the older model may offer better value.
Independent coverage also names the Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam Pet and Tineco iFloor 5 as alternatives. Reviews.org has compared the Flexi Pro with Dyson’s WashG1, but that is not a controlled head-to-head test. Compare tank size, carpet capability, drying method, parts availability and current pricing rather than assuming one product wins every category. Current US prices for those alternatives were not verified here.
Price, warranty and ownership costs
The official US price observed on August 16, 2026 was $299.99, reduced from a listed $499.99. Price, stock and promotions change, so treat those figures as dated US observations rather than permanent pricing.
The US store listing states free delivery, a 30-day return period from delivery and a one-year limited warranty. Regional versions can have different manuals, warranty terms, app behavior and availability; this review is specifically concerned with the US version.
Ownership also includes recurring maintenance. Expect to rinse the dirty-water tank, maintain the filter, inspect the roller and eventually replace consumables. The official store listing surfaced an approved floor-cleaning solution at $18.99 and a washable filter replacement at $32.99 when researched. Those are observed prices, not universal or mandatory checkout requirements. Follow the applicable manual’s instructions about cleaning products, and account for replacement-part availability before buying.
What the Flexi Pro cannot replace
The Flexi Pro can replace the separate vacuum-and-mop routine on suitable hard floors, but it cannot replace every cleaning tool in a household. Keep a separate dry vacuum when you need to clean:
- Carpet and rugs.
- Stairs.
- Sofas and upholstery.
- Car interiors.
- Ceilings, shelves and other high surfaces.
- Large-volume standing water or drain blockages.
It also does not replace a robot vacuum. A robot is useful for automated scheduled cleaning, while the Flexi Pro is a manually operated floor washer that is better suited to active spill cleanup and deeper hard-floor washing.
Final verdict
The Roborock Flexi Pro earns its strongest recommendation from a specific type of buyer: someone with mostly sealed hard floors who regularly deals with kitchen messes, pet dirt, children’s spills or inaccessible areas beneath furniture. FlatReach is a meaningful advantage, and the combination of hot-water roller washing and heated drying is more useful than a basic rinse-only dock.
Recommended Free Tools
It is less compelling as a general vacuum. The wet roller is always part of the cleaning process, the tanks are not large, four-hour charging is lengthy, and the self-cleaning system still requires a person to empty tanks, wash components and handle stubborn residue.
