Yes—Reolink ran a genuine Black Friday promotion in 2024, but it is over. The campaign began with early deals on November 14, expanded on November 21 and was advertised through December 5; several featured prices ended December 2. Reolink advertised discounts of up to 43%, but that was the maximum, not a discount applied to every camera. The documented promotion was an extended Black Friday sale spanning Cyber Monday, not a separately verified Cyber Monday price event.

What were Reolink’s best-documented 2024 deals?

These are historical U.S. promotion prices reported in Reolink’s November 2024 announcements, not current offers. “From” prices below are the reference prices stated in those announcements; they are not evidence of typical street prices.

E1 Zoom $79.99 $55.99 30% Listed through Dec. 2 Lower-cost indoor pan-and-tilt monitoring

Reolink’s broader-sale announcement advertised up to 43% off selected products, including battery and PoE cameras and Home Hubs, through December 5, 2024. It did not establish that every item received 43% off. The early and later Altas PT Ultra prices are both reported because the announcements give different prices at different sale phases. Which deals fit which security needs?

For extended recording: Altas PT Ultra

The Altas PT Ultra is a 4K pan-and-tilt battery camera sold in the listed offer with a solar panel. Reolink advertised a 20,000mAh battery and up to 96 hours of 4K continuous recording on one charge, as well as ColorX night vision. Treat the 96-hour figure as a manufacturer claim, not a guaranteed runtime: settings, activity, temperature, network conditions and solar exposure can change performance. The early offer was $159.99 from a stated $229.99; the later promotion listed $151.99.

Reolink also claimed 30% better battery life than the average battery camera; that is the company’s comparison, not an independently verified measurement. See the Argus camera range for current product-family context, not 2024 pricing.

For wide and close views together: TrackMix WiFi

TrackMix WiFi uses two lenses to show a panoramic view and a closer view, with pan-tilt movement and auto-tracking. Its early promotion price was $118.99 from $169.99. It is the Wi-Fi model; TrackMix PoE and TrackMix LTE are different connectivity and installation variants, so confirm the exact model before comparing a deal.

The value depends on needing the included cameras and central hub, rather than comparing the bundle price with the cost of two standalone cameras.

Battery operation can simplify installation where existing wiring is absent, while a battery doorbell may not behave like an always-on hardwired model. The announcement described no mandatory subscription, but storage and features depend on the setup.

When did the sale run, and was Cyber Monday cheaper?

The dated announcements support a staged, extended Black Friday campaign. Reolink’s community post also described a November 7–13 surprise-bonus period before the early sale.

The announcement did not provide a complete terms table covering coupon denominations, exclusions or identical checkout behavior across Amazon and Reolink’s site. These codes and coupon windows expired in 2024; the announcement is not evidence that either code still works. Inventory, shipping and final prices could also differ by storefront. See the original early-sale terms.

How to choose between battery, Home Hub and PoE/NVR systems

Battery and Wi-Fi cameras

Battery cameras suit renters and locations such as sheds or backyards where Ethernet is unavailable or cable routing is undesirable. They trade installation convenience for charging or solar-placement needs; continuous recording is more demanding than motion-triggered recording, and a weak Wi-Fi signal can impair live viewing and remote access. Solar panels do not guarantee uninterrupted operation in shade, snow, prolonged cloud or heavy-use conditions.

Home Hub systems

A Home Hub can centralize compatible wireless cameras and local storage without running Ethernet to each camera. It adds a powered, connected central device, and compatibility should be checked before mixing models or generations. Depending on the cameras and setup, additional microSD cards or solar panels may be needed.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

PoE cameras and NVR bundles

PoE/NVR systems are a stronger fit for permanent installations, larger properties and buyers who want 24/7 recording. One Ethernet cable can carry power and data, but cable routes and a suitable NVR or network switch are still required. Check the NVR’s channel capacity, included hard-drive storage and camera count before planning expansion; a bundle’s initial camera count does not establish how many additional cameras it can support. Reolink lists multiple channel configurations and explains its wired systems on its NVR systems page.

What should you compare before buying a camera deal?

  • Final checkout cost: account for codes, coupon purchases, tax, shipping and regional storefront differences; a headline percentage alone does not establish the best price.
  • What is in the box: verify whether a solar panel, Home Hub, NVR or hard drive is included, and how many cameras are bundled.
  • Coverage: a wide fixed camera, a pan-and-tilt model, a dual-view TrackMix, a doorbell and a multi-camera perimeter system address different blind spots.
  • Power and installation: battery models reduce cabling but need charging or suitable solar exposure; PoE requires cable routing but delivers wired power and data.
  • Recording and connectivity: decide whether motion-triggered recording is enough or 24/7 recording matters, and check Wi-Fi signal where a wireless camera will be mounted.
  • Storage and subscriptions: Reolink promotes local-storage setups without a mandatory monthly subscription, but distinguish microSD, Home Hub and NVR storage from optional cloud services; features vary by model and storage method. See the security-system overview.
