The report describes a site inspection, not an inspection of active bridge construction. A separate report identified a 240-foot bridge under construction over Mular Creek in PutaO Township, but the two accounts do not establish that these are the same project.
What officials inspected in PutaO District
Myanmar International Television (MITV), reporting on 29 April 2024, said that U Khet Htein Nan and his party visited PutaO District on 28 April as part of a broader review of local development work. Among the sites visited was the chosen location for a new reinforced-concrete bridge.

The report does not identify the bridge’s creek or road, nor does it give a length, width, budget, contractor, construction schedule, or completion status. It therefore supports saying officials inspected a selected bridge site—not that they inspected construction progress on that bridge.
Other work included in the district visit
The visit took place in the context of a Kachin State Government three-year food-sufficiency program. MITV also reported inspections of a seed purification factory, natural-fertilizer operations, road paving near the Government Technical School, and other local projects. The bridge inspection was one item in that wider itinerary; the report gave no measured outcome for the bridge.

What the separate Mular Creek report says
Myanmar Digital News (MDN) reported on 20 February 2024 that a Department of Highways bridge construction team was working on a 240-foot reinforced-concrete bridge across Mular Creek in PutaO Township. The bridge is on the Upper Sangong-Lonnadam-Ziyadam road.
MDN described upgrading work along the 24-mile-seven-furlong route, including road widening, gravel-road paving, and reinforced-concrete bridges. The report said the road connects to the Phonkanrazi and Phonrinrazi mountains and presented visitor attraction and benefits to communities along the route as project aims—not as measured results.

Are the inspected site and Mular Creek bridge the same project?
The available reports do not confirm that they are. MITV gives a district-level account of officials inspecting a selected bridge site; MDN identifies active work on a specific bridge over Mular Creek. Neither report links the site inspected on 28 April to the Mular Creek project. Treating them as one bridge would go beyond what the reporting establishes.

Keep unrelated bridge figures out of the PutaO account
MDN separately reported on a bridge in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region: that project was 60 feet long, 20 feet wide, and cost K 196.40 million, funded from Union funds for FY 2023–2024. Those figures belong to the Lekai-Shwehla-Htanaunggon inter-village road bridge, not either PutaO report.
