How do you use the digital temperature probe?
- Plug the probe into the air fryer.
- Insert its tip into the thickest part of the food.
- Select the probe function and set the desired internal temperature.
- Let the unit cook until it reaches the selected target; NuWave says it stops cooking at that point.
For safe food handling, choose an appropriate internal-temperature target for the food being cooked and position the probe as directed in the appliance instructions.
Is preheating required?

Can the drip tray be used for cooking?
NuWave says the drip tray normally catches drips and crumbs and can also be used as a baking sheet on rack levels 2 or 3. Check the instructions for your specific model and the food you plan to cook before using it this way.
How do you clean the Brio?
- Unplug the appliance and let it cool completely before cleaning.
- Check the instructions for the exact model and removable part to confirm whether it is dishwasher-safe and how it should be placed.
