It is designed for large, steep or uneven lawns where conventional wheeled robot mowers may struggle. The concept is genuinely different, but its impressive specifications are manufacturer claims—not a guarantee that every 45-degree slope, wet lawn or obstacle-filled property will be suitable.
There is also an important naming distinction: Lymow previewed its first wire-free mower at CES 2024, introduced the Lymow One around CES 2025, and later promoted the newer One Plus around CES 2026. The current retail product is the One Plus; the original Lymow One page currently shows US and Canadian stock as sold out.

What Lymow actually unveiled
Lymow’s announcement is best understood as a product evolution rather than one unchanged mower appearing under different headlines.
- CES 2024: Lymow previewed a boundary-wire-free robotic mower built around tracked propulsion, RTK-VSLAM navigation and a heavier-duty cutting concept. The original announcement is documented in Lymow’s CES 2024 release.
- CES 2025: Coverage of the Lymow One described an upgraded front mulching deck, LySee navigation and improved terrain capability. See Power Progress’s report.
- CES 2026: The Lymow One Plus became the newer retail-facing generation, emphasizing dual rotary blades, cyclone airflow, tracked traction and expanded smart-navigation features.
That distinction matters when comparing specifications, prices, availability and warranty terms. Claims made for the One Plus should not automatically be treated as specifications for the original One or for the first CES prototype.

Why the rotary mulching blades matter
Most robotic mowers use small replaceable razor-style blades mounted beneath the machine. Lymow takes a different approach with two conventional rotary blades made from SK5 steel. The company says the blades can spin at up to 6,000 rpm and cut across a 16-inch, or 400-mm, deck.
The intended advantage is greater cutting aggression. Rotary blades are potentially better suited to tall, dense or coarse grass than small razor blades, particularly when a lawn has become overgrown between mowing sessions. Lymow also markets cyclone airflow, a floating deck and leaf-shredding capability. The airflow is intended to lift flattened grass into the blades and improve cut consistency.
That does not make the One Plus a universal leaf-management machine. Results will depend on leaf depth, moisture, lawn density, deck clearance, cutting height and how often the mower runs. Shredding a layer of dry leaves during regular mowing is not the same as replacing a leaf vacuum or clearing deep, wet accumulations in autumn.

The maintenance and safety trade-off
Rotary blades are a meaningful engineering change, but they also make debris management more important. A hard branch, stone or other object can have more serious consequences when it meets a full-size rotary blade than when it meets a small razor blade. Owners should remove loose debris before mowing and follow the manufacturer’s shutdown and cleaning procedure.
Lymow advertises an automatically lifting blade deck for cleaning and an off-ground shutoff system. Those features are safeguards, not a substitute for switching the mower off before inspecting the deck. Before buying, confirm how blades are replaced, whether the deck must be raised manually, the price and availability of replacement blades, and whether the manufacturer recommends particular conditions for leaf mulching.
What tracked treads add
The One Plus uses tank-like tracks instead of ordinary mower wheels. Lymow says this improves traction on steep slopes, wet grass, soft soil, gravel, roots and uneven ground. The company rates the machine for slopes up to 45 degrees, or a 100% incline, and claims it can cross obstacles up to 2 inches, or 50 mm, high.
For a property with difficult terrain, tracks may be more consequential than the mower’s styling. A wider contact area can help the machine maintain grip where a wheeled robot spins or loses forward momentum. Tracks may also make it more capable of crossing small branches, roots or transitions between surfaces.
However, “45 degrees” is a maximum rating, not a blanket recommendation for every 45-degree area. A straight uphill climb on a dry, firm surface is different from a wet side hill. Lateral slopes, turning, braking, mud, edge drop-offs and the condition of the turf all affect stability and traction. A manufacturer’s incline figure should not be interpreted as proof that the mower is safe on any slope of that angle.
Tracks introduce their own costs
Tracked propulsion adds weight, friction and mechanical complexity. Grass, mud, roots and stones can collect around tracks, sprockets, idler wheels and tensioning components. Those parts may require more inspection than the wheels on a conventional robot mower. Tight turns may also be less gentle on soft or wet turf, potentially scuffing the lawn.
The One Plus weighs 77.6 pounds, or 35.2 kilograms. That is relevant if the mower becomes stuck, needs to be transported between zones or must be lifted for service. Its weight may help stability on slopes, but it also makes manual recovery less convenient.
Wire-free does not mean setup-free
The One Plus combines RTK satellite positioning with VSLAM—visual simultaneous localization and mapping. It also uses AI vision, ultrasonic sensing, bumper sensors and cliff detection. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G provide local setup and connectivity options.
RTK is intended to provide highly precise positioning without a perimeter wire. VSLAM and onboard sensors help the mower understand its surroundings and maintain a map. Together, these technologies remove the need to bury or pin a boundary cable, but they introduce different installation requirements.
Before unattended mowing, an owner will generally need to:
- Place the RTK reference station where it has a strong view of the sky and minimal obstruction from buildings, trees and terrain.
- Align and install the charging dock correctly.
- Connect the mower through the app, Wi-Fi or cellular service as required.
- Map the lawn and create boundaries, no-go areas and separate mowing zones.
- Check transitions between zones, narrow passages, slopes, ponds, drop-offs and other hazards.
- Run each zone under supervision before scheduling routine mowing.
- Keep the app, firmware and permissions working so that positioning and remote controls remain available.
Lymow’s own specifications indicate that mowing without RTK is limited to a small area and approximately 10 minutes. That makes reliable base-station placement and signal conditions a practical prerequisite for many installations. Tree cover, buildings, steep terrain and local reception can create dead zones, inaccurate boundaries, failed docking or incomplete mowing areas.

Daily coverage is not the same as single-charge coverage. The advertised 1.73-acre figure applies to the 10A configuration and is a maximum estimate. Real coverage depends on grass growth, terrain, cutting height, overlap, obstacle avoidance, speed, weather and the time spent returning to charge. The 2,000-cycle LiFePO4 battery figure is likewise a rated or claimed cycle figure, not a guarantee of a particular number of years in service.
What independent coverage suggests
Available independent reporting provides a more measured picture than the headline specifications alone. Tom’s Guide’s review described the One Plus as effective on its test lawn and noted that the tracks helped with rough terrain. The reviewer nevertheless stopped short of treating it as a universal replacement for a riding mower.
T3’s coverage reported the One Plus’s availability after its CES appearance and highlighted the 45-degree slope claim, dual SK5 rotary blades, 40-cm deck and dedicated blade motors. These are useful observations about the product’s design and positioning, but they do not establish long-term reliability or prove that every lawn will achieve the advertised performance.
Owner discussions and app-store reviews mention practical concerns including setup difficulty, connectivity, positioning, track adjustment and support responsiveness. These reports are anecdotal rather than a controlled reliability study. They are best treated as prompts to investigate support, parts and return terms before purchase.

At the time of writing, Lymow’s US product page lists the One Plus at approximately $2,999 for the 5A version and $3,199 for the 10A version. The page has also displayed an estimated US shipping window of one to three business days, but pricing, promotions, inventory and delivery estimates can change. Confirm the exact configuration and stock status at checkout.
The original Lymow One is less straightforward as a current purchase: its US and Canadian product page indicates that the model is sold out and directs shoppers toward the One Plus. Availability and model names may differ outside North America.
Lymow purchase materials include three-year warranty language for the One Plus, while the company has also published a warranty update. Check the exact regional terms before ordering, including coverage for the battery, tracks, blade motors, charger and other wear-prone components. Also verify exclusions, return conditions after installation and whether repairs are handled locally or require shipping.
This is particularly important because Lymow is a newer specialist ecosystem than established lawn-equipment brands. The technology may be compelling, but ownership depends on replacement blades, tracks, chargers, batteries, firmware support and responsive service being available when needed.

It may be a good fit if you have:
- A large lawn where manual mowing consumes significant time.
- Steep or uneven ground where wheeled robots may lose traction.
- Wet grass, gravel transitions, roots or small surface obstacles.
- A preference for returning clippings to the lawn rather than collecting them.
- A property that can receive dependable RTK signals and be divided into workable mapped zones.
- The willingness to clean the deck, inspect the tracks and troubleshoot connected hardware.
Be cautious if you have:
- A small, flat lawn where the premium price is difficult to justify.
- Many narrow passages, disconnected areas, ponds, drop-offs or dense tree cover.
- Frequent toys, hoses, pet waste, branches or loose stones on the lawn.
- A requirement for proven long-term reliability and a mature dealer network.
- No tolerance for downtime during peak growing season.
- Children, pets, public access or uncontrolled hazards around the operating area.
- A property where side-hill operation is more important than straight uphill climbing.
Questions to answer before ordering
- Is the exact One Plus configuration in stock in your country, or is the listing a preorder or estimated shipment?
- What warranty applies to your region and purchase channel?
- Are tracks, blades, motors, battery and charger covered for the same period?
- What do replacement tracks and rotary blades cost, and how quickly can they be delivered?
- Is 4G connectivity included permanently or only for a limited term?
- What does the mower do when RTK lock is lost?
- Can it safely handle your property’s side slopes, wet areas and transitions—not just its best-case uphill rating?
- How does it respond to pet waste, toys, hoses and small branches?
- Can it travel between your zones automatically, or will it need manual relocation?
- What is the return policy after the machine has been mapped and used?
- Is local repair available, or must the machine be shipped to another country?
- Does Lymow recommend leaf mulching only when leaves are dry and shallow?
How Lymow compares conceptually
Lymow’s closest comparison targets include Segway Navimow, Mammotion LUBA and Husqvarna Automower. Segway and Mammotion are relevant wire-free alternatives, while Husqvarna represents the established-brand option for buyers who prioritize dealer support and service history.
Those alternatives should be compared on more than acreage and slope ratings. Consider navigation performance under tree cover, app quality, obstacle handling, dealer and repair availability, replacement-part pricing, warranty coverage and whether the mower uses the cutting system you actually want. Lymow’s specific advantage is its combination of rotary mulching blades and tracked propulsion; its potential disadvantage is the additional mechanical and support risk that comes with a distinctive, relatively new design.
Verdict
Lymow has unveiled a technically distinctive robotic mower rather than a cosmetic variation on the standard small-blade design. The One Plus’s rotary cutting system could be genuinely useful for taller grass and routine leaf shredding, while tracked propulsion is plausibly better suited to steep, rough or wet terrain than ordinary wheels.
But the machine is expensive, heavy and dependent on successful RTK installation, mapping, connectivity and regular maintenance. Its 45-degree slope, obstacle, coverage, noise, leaf-mulching and battery figures should be read as manufacturer claims under stated or favorable conditions—not as guarantees for every property. For difficult terrain and an owner comfortable with early-generation smart-yard hardware, Lymow deserves serious consideration. For a small flat lawn, a mature service network or trouble-free ownership, a more established alternative may be the safer choice.
