What does the Swedish substation contract cover?
Linjemontage received the SEK 200 million award from Ellevio AB through public procurement. “Turnkey” in this announcement means Linjemontage is responsible for the listed civil, building, equipment and electrical-delivery stages through testing and commissioning. It does not indicate that every future grid connection has already been delivered under this order.
Ellevio’s later-stage plans include connecting four new overhead lines to the new substation and adding a new 400 kV bay linking to Svenska kraftnät’s transmission grid. These are described as future plans, not completed elements of the current work. The existing facility’s continued operation also means construction will be carried out alongside an energized operational asset, although the reports provide no detailed outage or safety timetable.

What did KPIL’s managing director say?
Manish Mohnot, KPIL’s managing director and chief executive officer, said the wins reflected “a strong endorsement of our execution capabilities, technical expertise, and growing customer confidence,” according to the report. He also pointed to investment in transmission infrastructure, grid expansion and renewable-energy integration as factors supporting order inflows. That is management’s explanation, not independently established causation.
