Storage products that look similar may be intended for different surfaces. INTEX says its Pool Mesh Caddy Storage Bag can hang on compatible above-ground metal-frame pools, fences, and gates. Float Storage says its racks can mount to most flat surfaces, including fences, walls, decks, and privacy screens. Confirm the instructions for the specific product and your installation surface before buying; do not assume that a pool-frame caddy will fit a wall or that a rack will suit every fence.

For dedicated float racks, Float Storage describes model-dependent capacity and mounting details. Check the selected model against the size and number of floats you actually need to store. Also consider whether you can reach the gear easily without obstructing a gate, walkway, or pool access.

Use simple DIY storage for everyday cleanup
If you would rather repurpose what you already have, hanging baskets, hooks with a cargo net, pegboards, or baskets with drainage holes can contain pool gear. Choose a setup that keeps wet items ventilated and lets you retrieve them easily. Secure any hooks or netting appropriately for the surface; a loose attachment can turn a tidy-up solution into a hazard. These approaches are practical suggestions, not tested product comparisons. Prepare inflatables for off-season storage
Daily cleanup and winter or off-season storage are different tasks. Before putting away inflatables, dry them thoroughly, then store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
