Short answer: not for everyone. The eufy X10 Pro Omni is a strong choice for homes with mostly hard floors, shedding pets, everyday clutter and a preference for automated mopping. Its rotating mop pads, self-cleaning dock and camera-assisted obstacle avoidance are genuinely useful. However, independent testing has found weaker debris pickup than some competitors, and its large dock and ongoing maintenance may not suit every home.
Buy it when those convenience features matter and the price is substantially below newer premium models. At or near its original list-price territory, compare it carefully with the Roborock Qrevo S, Dreame L10s Ultra and newer 2026 models.

What the eufy X10 Pro Omni does
The X10 Pro Omni combines a robot vacuum, dual rotating mop pads and an all-in-one dock. The station automatically empties the dust bin, washes the mop pads, dries them and manages clean and dirty water. The robot can recharge and resume cleaning, while the eufy Clean app provides mapping, scheduling, room selection, cleaning-history information and settings for vacuuming and mopping. Exact controls can vary by app version, firmware and region.
Navigation uses LiDAR. For obstacle recognition, the robot adds an RGB camera and LED illumination through eufy’s AI.See system. eufy says the system can recognize more than 100 object types, including toys, slippers and cables, and says recognition is processed offline. Those are manufacturer claims rather than independent industry benchmarks, so the feature should reduce intervention—not eliminate the need to prepare the floor.

The headline 8,000 Pa rating is competitive for the model’s original midrange positioning, but suction is only one part of cleaning performance. Brush design, airflow, floor contact, agitation, navigation and repeated passes determine how much rice, cereal, sand, dust, pet hair and fine debris actually enter the bin.
Independent testing is mixed. RTINGS reports weaker bare-floor debris pickup and rates alternatives such as the Roborock Qrevo S and Dreame L10s Ultra ahead overall as hybrid vacuum-and-mop robots. By contrast, Vacuum Wars reported strong carpet deep-clean results in its testing. These findings are not necessarily contradictory: different test methods, debris types and floor conditions can produce different outcomes.
The practical conclusion is that the X10 should handle routine daily debris well, particularly when it runs frequently, but its 8,000 Pa specification does not guarantee the best fine-particle or carpet pickup.
Why its mopping is a major strength
Mopping is one of the X10 Pro Omni’s best reasons to buy it. The dual pads rotate quickly, apply approximately 1 kg of downward pressure and lift when the robot detects carpet. At the dock, the pads are automatically washed and dried.
TechRadar praised the spinning, downward-pressing mop design, while WIRED reported effective cleaning on hardwood and tile. This makes the X10 particularly appealing for kitchens, entryways and hard-floor homes that need frequent maintenance cleaning.
It is still a maintenance mop, not a replacement for manual deep cleaning. Dried, greasy or heavily caked stains may need hand treatment. Rotating pads can also spread a wet or particularly dirty mess. Inspect the pads regularly, clean the wash tray and do not allow dirty water or damp components to sit indefinitely.

Obstacle avoidance: useful, not foolproof
The combination of LiDAR mapping, an RGB camera and LED lighting is more capable than basic navigation alone. It can help in homes where toys, slippers, cables and other objects regularly appear on the floor.
Nevertheless, thin charging cables, socks, transparent objects, reflective surfaces, dark objects, unusual furniture and pet accidents can still cause failures. Independent coverage and owner reports are mixed, with praise for small-object avoidance alongside reports of mapping, navigation and app frustrations. Perform an initial supervised run and remove high-risk objects before every cleaning cycle.
Never rely on AI.See as a guaranteed pet-waste safeguard. Remove pet accidents manually before starting the robot.
Is it good for pet owners?
For ordinary shedding, the X10 is a sensible fit. eufy markets it for pet hair and combines the 8,000 Pa specification, a rubber-and-bristle roller, a Pro-Detangle Comb, automatic dust emptying and carpet mop lifting.
These features can reduce daily intervention, but “auto-detangling” does not mean the brush never needs attention. Long human hair and fur can collect around brush ends, side brushes, wheels and mop components. Homes with extreme shedding or thick carpets may benefit from a robot with stronger independently verified pickup.
Hard floors versus carpets
Mostly hard floors
This is the X10’s strongest territory. Its rotating mop system, mop washing and drying, scheduled cleaning and obstacle recognition suit busy hard-floor households. Sealed hardwood, tile, vinyl and laminate are generally more compatible than delicate or moisture-sensitive surfaces; follow the flooring manufacturer’s care guidance.
Carpet-heavy homes
The X10 can vacuum carpets and lift its mop pads by up to 12 mm, but that does not make every rug safe or every transition navigable. Thick, shaggy, fringed or loose rugs may tangle. Thresholds near the clearance limit can cause repeated failures, and mop lifting cannot prevent every damp-rug problem. If carpet cleaning and fine debris pickup outweigh mopping, compare alternatives before buying.
Mapping, app controls and privacy
LiDAR supports room maps, room-specific cleaning, schedules, no-go zones, no-mop zones, carpet behavior, suction and mopping settings, recharge-and-resume and error notifications. The current eufy Clean app and firmware determine the exact menu names and available features, so do not assume an older review shows the current interface.

eufy says AI.See obstacle recognition operates offline and that images and personal data are not transmitted or stored online for this feature. It also cites TÜV SÜD ETSI 303645 cybersecurity compliance. These are manufacturer and certification claims, not a universal statement that every connected-device or app function is offline. Privacy-sensitive buyers should review the current privacy policy, check app permissions and disable features they do not need.

- Empty or replace the dust bag when required.
- Clean the wash tray and deal with residue or odor.
- Clean filters, sensors, camera areas, wheels and charging contacts.
- Inspect the roller and side brushes for hair.
- Wash or replace mop pads.
- Keep the dock and mop components dry enough to prevent persistent smells.
Humidity, pet hair and frequent mopping may increase cleaning frequency. The official X10 Pro Omni manual covers app use and cleaning procedures. Replacement bags, filters, brushes, mop pads and approved cleaning solution are recurring ownership costs; check local availability and warranty terms for your country and purchase date.
Space and layout checks before buying
- Measure under beds, sofas and cabinets against the robot’s approximately 4.47-inch height.
- Measure the dock location and leave enough front and side access for the robot and enough room to remove both water tanks.
- Check every threshold and floor transition, especially those near 0.83 inches.
- Identify fringed, curled, shaggy or loose rugs.
- Make sure doors, cabinets and walls do not block the robot’s approach to the dock.
- Plan where cables, socks, toys and pet waste will be removed.

Test results are methodology-specific, and prices and configurations vary by country and promotion. Compare models at the same real transaction price rather than comparing the X10’s discounted price with an alternative’s list price.
What it costs in 2026
During the August 16–18, 2026 US research window, eufy pages showed conflicting signals: one product-page variant displayed $899.99 and another comparison or collection page displayed $799.99. Bundles and discounts also appeared. These figures are not a single universal current price; retailer, region, configuration, membership and promotion can change the amount.
As a buying rule, the X10 is most compelling around the lower sale-price range, acceptable near $700–$800 when mopping and obstacle avoidance are priorities, and harder to justify around $900 when newer or better-performing alternatives are similarly priced. - Install the robot and dock where the station has clear approach space.
- Complete the first map run with the floor reasonably clear.
- Create room, no-go and no-mop zones.
- Configure carpet handling and choose vacuum, mop or combined cleaning modes.
- Supervise the first several runs to identify thresholds, rugs and objects the camera misses.
- Keep cables, socks, small toys and pet accidents off the floor.
- Check the app and firmware periodically because controls and behavior can change.
- Establish a regular dock, brush, filter and mop-pad cleaning routine.
Final recommendation
The eufy X10 Pro Omni is best understood as a discounted mopping-and-automation specialist, not the universal best robot vacuum. It is a particularly good candidate for hard-floor homes, busy families and pet owners who want less daily intervention and useful obstacle recognition.
Choose the Roborock Qrevo S or Dreame L10s Ultra instead if independent overall cleaning results, fine-debris pickup or software refinement matter more. At any price, measure your home, check the dock footprint and budget for consumables and maintenance. At near-$900 pricing, the X10 deserves comparison; at a strong discount, its mopping and automation package becomes much easier to recommend.
