What the High Court ordered in the Injapur case
In W.P. No. 325 of 2026, Chandra Mohan Reddy Somi Reddy sought action on a representation about alleged encroachment in Survey No. 126, Injapur, Abdullapurmet Mandal, Rangareddy District. In its 13 July 2026 order, the Telangana High Court recorded the District Collector’s counter as describing the full extent as 74 acres 16 guntas, recorded as “Sarkari,” and the village map as showing it as “Jilavarkhan Cheruvu.” These are descriptions stated in the Collector’s counter and recounted by the court; they are not, by themselves, a final adjudication of the land dispute. Separate directions to police and Revenue Department
- The court directed the Director General of Police to entrust CBCID with a comprehensive inquiry into the involvement of officials and private individuals in relation to the alleged encroachment. The inquiry was to be completed within three months of receipt of a copy of the order.
- The court directed the Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, to take immediate action against responsible persons, particularly the Tahsildar and Grama Palana Officer, and file a report within four weeks.
These directions require investigation and reporting. They do not establish that the inquiry has concluded or that any named person has been found criminally liable.
Does the court record prove a warehouse is being built despite an order?
No. The available 13 July 2026 order concerns alleged encroachment in Survey No. 126 and refers to allegations including record manipulation, unauthorized construction permissions, encroachment and official inaction. The claims are allegations described in the proceedings; the court ordered an inquiry to determine the truth and fix responsibility. The order does not identify a warehouse, establish ongoing warehouse construction, or specify an injunction barring such construction.

To substantiate the warehouse claim, reporting would need to establish its precise location and survey number, obtain reliable evidence of construction and identify the specific court order said to prohibit it. Without that link, saying that a warehouse is continuing construction “despite court order” goes beyond what the verified court record supports.
Why the 2025 proceeding is a separate case
W.P. No. 32071 of 2025 concerned a petitioner’s allegation that officials interfered with construction on plots in Survey Nos. 117 and 118. The government submitted that the petitioner had encroached into Survey No. 126 and begun constructing a compound wall without authorization. In an order dated 24 October 2025, the court made no finding on the merits. It said that if the respondents intended to take action, they must follow legal procedure: conduct a survey of Survey No. 126, notify interested parties and give them a sufficient opportunity to be heard. That procedural direction is not a warehouse injunction, and the 2025 dispute should not be merged with the separate 2026 CBCID inquiry. The court’s stated position was:

What evidence would establish the warehouse allegation?
A clear account would need to connect the physical structure, the disputed parcel and the alleged court restraint—not rely on the existence of a separate land case alone. Relevant records include:
- The warehouse’s exact location and survey number, supported by land or survey records.
- Dated photographs or other reliable records showing the construction activity and when it occurred.
- Documents identifying the builder or landholder and any construction permissions at issue.
- The exact court order alleged to bar the work, including its terms and the parties it binds.
- Subsequent filings or official records showing when the CBCID received the 2026 order and the status of its inquiry.
The order sets the inquiry and reporting periods from receipt of a copy; the date of receipt and any later progress are not established by the order itself. No court-supported valuation figure is established in the cited material.
