Start by finding the washer’s complete model code and region, then follow the matching Samsung repair guide or service manual. Samsung’s customer repair guides are available only for eligible models, and screw locations and removal steps are not universal across front-load washers.
Find the exact model before removing anything
Use the full model code, including its suffix, to locate instructions for your washer. Samsung’s support listing for the WF90F26ADS shows a customer Repair Guide, version 1.0, modified July 9, 2025. Samsung’s service download library says customer Repair Guides are provided for models eligible for customer self-repair. A guide for one model does not establish the procedure for another.
Check that the guide covers your exact model and region, and follow its safety warnings and complete procedure. If it does not cover control-panel removal, or you are uncertain about any step, contact Samsung service rather than improvising.
What one Samsung service-manual example shows
The service-manual preview for the WF45R6100AP/US family describes a sequence for that family only. It lists WF45R6100AP/AW/AC/AV, WF45R6300AP/AW/AV/AC, and WF45T6200AW/US among the covered models. It does not establish that the same sequence applies to other Samsung front-load washers.

- Remove two rear hex screws, then slide the top cover backward.
- Release and remove the detergent drawer. Remove three drawer-housing screws and slide the housing backward.
- Remove four control-panel screws. Pull the panel toward you and lift it.
- Carefully disconnect the wire connectors by hand.
The preview cautions that its standard disassembly diagram may differ from the actual product. Confirm each part and fastener against the instructions for your own model; do not assume that another washer has the same screw count, release points, clips, or connector arrangement.

A screwdriver set may be needed, but check the matching instructions for the correct bit and fastener fit before starting. Stop if the panel resists, a retaining part appears damaged, or the wiring does not match the guide; forcing a panel or connector can cause damage.
