Find the refrigerator’s complete model number and use the manual or repair and dismantling documents for that exact model before removing screws or prying at the panel. Samsung’s support listings provide model-specific documents, and instructions for a different model—or for a different task—do not establish how your panel is attached.
Start with the exact refrigerator model
Look for the model number on the appliance’s rating label, then search Samsung Support for that complete model designation and the correct regional support page. Match the full model and any variant suffix shown on the appliance; do not assume a guide for a similar-looking refrigerator applies.

- Open the support page for your model. Search Samsung’s official support site using the complete model number.
- Check the available documents. Look for the user manual and any repair guide or dismantling instructions. Confirm that the document applies to your model or model family.
- Read the relevant procedure before starting. Verify the panel’s attachment method, required tools, and whether the instructions identify connectors or other components that must be handled.
The support listings show why model matching matters: Samsung lists an RB7300 user-servicing repair guide, version 1.0, modified 30 September 2024, and separate dismantling instructions dated 30 September 2024 for model RB33B612EBN. For BRB80F30AES0, Samsung UK lists dismantling instructions dated 4 March 2025 and a repair guide dated 20 November 2025. For RF50C530EB1, Samsung UK lists an RF5000A repair guide dated 8 September 2021 and dismantling instructions dated 13 August 2021. These are examples of documents available for those specific models—not instructions for other refrigerators.

Why a generic removal sequence is not reliable
The available Samsung documents do not establish one sequence for every refrigerator’s interior back panel. Without your model’s instructions, the panel’s fasteners, clips, wiring or sensor connections, and the appropriate tools are unknown. Guessing where to pry or which screws to remove could damage the panel or connected components.

Do not treat a hinge-cover procedure as an interior-panel procedure. Samsung’s separate door-reversal guide describes unclipping a hinge cover with a small screwdriver and cautions, “Be careful not to drop the door when you disassemble it.” That guidance applies to door reversal, not to removing the inside back panel.
Before you begin work
- Protect the floor before working around the refrigerator. Samsung mentions this precaution in its door-reversal guide; it is a useful example, not a complete safety procedure for interior-panel work.
- Follow the safety instructions in the manual or repair guide for your exact appliance and the specific task.
- Use a tool only if the model-specific instructions call for it. A small screwdriver is identified for the hinge cover in Samsung’s door-reversal procedure; that does not mean it is suitable for the back panel.
- If the correct documentation is unavailable or does not explain how the panel comes off, stop rather than force it. Contact Samsung support or a qualified repair professional with the complete model number.
When you cannot confirm the correct instructions
Do not try a removal method taken from another Samsung model or from a video that does not identify your exact model. If your purpose is inspection or repair, tell Samsung support or a technician the model number and what you are trying to access. They can help identify the applicable instructions and whether the work is appropriate for you to perform.
