The “save up to 41%” claim is not verified by the available Home Depot materials. The retailer announced that its 2026 holiday collection would begin arriving in stores the week of October 5, with gift savings starting October 29. A Home Depot weekly ad sampled for Jonesboro lists seasonal decor and artificial trees, but it does not establish a holiday-decor discount of up to 41%.
What Home Depot has announced for the 2026 holiday season
In a September 29, 2026 announcement, Home Depot said its holiday decor collection would roll into stores nationwide beginning the week of October 5. It said gift savings would begin October 29 and continue through the season. The announcement describes when the collection and savings begin; it does not identify a 41% discount on Christmas trees, wreaths or decor. Home Depot’s collection announcement

Artificial trees and smart features
The announcement names 9-foot and 7.5-foot Grand Duchess SMART artificial trees. It says the line adds Hubspace app integration and features memory wire and Quick Set assembly. A separate Home Depot weekly circular sampled for Jonesboro and dated October 8–22 lists Grand Duchess tree variations and a 6.5-foot Sugarland Pine LED pre-lit artificial tree. The available information does not provide a complete model-by-model specification or a nationwide price comparison. Home Depot Weekly Circular, October 8–22, 2026

Home Depot’s announcement also features app-controlled holiday animatronics, including a 6.5-foot Animated LED App Controlled Santa. It gives a $29.99 price for a limited-edition Holiday Sweater and says the items included with it have more than $150 in value. That value statement concerns the sweater bundle, not a markdown on trees, wreaths or other holiday decor.

Is the “up to 41% off” claim confirmed?
No. Neither the September 29 announcement nor the sampled October 8–22 circular establishes that holiday trees, wreaths or decor are discounted by up to 41%. The circular does list seasonal products, but its sampled listings are associated with Jonesboro; their prices and availability should not be treated as national offers. A percentage-off claim would need an itemized offer showing eligible products, comparison prices and dates. Until those details are available, treat 41% as unverified rather than as a confirmed Home Depot holiday discount.
How to assess a tree or decor deal
Compare the actual item and its terms, rather than relying on a headline percentage. Tree models can differ in height, shape, lighting and smart controls, while availability and delivery eligibility can depend on the specific product and location.

- Match the product: Check the exact model and height, and whether its profile is slim or full.
- Check the features: Confirm whether lights are included, whether controls are app-based, and what assembly approach the model uses.
- Check the local offer: Verify the current listed price and stock for your store or delivery address. The Jonesboro circular does not establish pricing elsewhere.
- Review delivery terms: Home Depot says it offers free delivery on more than 2 million items and same-day or next-day delivery on select products. That retailer-wide statement does not guarantee delivery eligibility or timing for a particular seasonal item.
- Read the return terms: The cited announcement and circular do not provide a complete comparison of return terms, so check the terms attached to the specific purchase before ordering.
Does this make Home Depot cheaper than Prime Day?
The available Home Depot sources do not support a price comparison with Prime Day. A September 29, 2026 Tom’s Guide roundup covers other Home Depot deals ahead of October Prime Day, but it does not verify the holiday-specific 41% figure. To decide which offer is better for a particular tree or decoration, compare the same model and features, the current price, stock, delivery terms and return conditions rather than comparing unrelated products or headline discounts.
