What the 100-inch U76N was—and what its launch price was
Hisense USA’s January 24, 2024, announcement identifies the 100-inch set as the U76N. It announced a $2,999 launch price and said that was 40% below the stated $4,999 MSRP. That manufacturer launch price is a separate, earlier claim from HotHardware’s later report of a $1,999.99 Best Buy promotion.

Hisense described the U76N as a 4K UHD QLED television with a 144Hz refresh rate, Filmmaker Mode, IMAX Enhanced, Wi-Fi 6E, Google TV, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. These are manufacturer-stated features; they should not be read as independent measurements of picture or sound performance. HotHardware separately reported the 256 local-dimming zones and 800-nit brightness figures.
How to read the deal in today’s model lineup
Model names matter when comparing old deal coverage with current products. Hisense USA’s product page identifies a newer 100-inch U7 as model 100U75QG; that is not the 2024 U76N. Hisense’s current deals page lists 100-inch U8, UX, U7, U6, and QD7 families, as well as 75-inch U8, U7, U6, and QD7 families. Those lineup listings provide product context, not confirmation of current inventory or prices for the older U76N deal.

- QLED Color: See the exact hue of every blade of grass on the field and every line on the court. QLED Color is made up of quantum dots—very small particles with the ability to display over a billion shades of color. This feature renders every frame with rich, vibrant and realistic color, ensuring that even the most minute details stand out.
- Total HDR Solution: See every basket and goal in all its glory. Total HDR Solution distinguishes between the colors you perceive on screen. That means ink-black blacks, not muddled tones and brighter, more vibrant colors with every HDR format, including Dolby Vision, HDR 10+Adaptive, HDR 10 and HLG.
- Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos: The fusion of Dolby VisionTM HDR imaging and Dolby Atmos sound transforms your TV into an entertainment powerhouse. These image and sound technologies from the cinema, now brought together for the home, provide amazing realism that you’ll see, hear, and feel like never before.
- Fire TV: Fire TV seamlessly integrates your favorite live channels and apps on the home screen, or you can browse the Channel Guide in Live.
- Press & Ask | Alexa: Just press and ask Alexa to find, launch, and control your content. Go beyond streaming to check sports scores, set timers, reminders, and more.
For later market context, Tom’s Guide’s September 2026 deal roundup listed a 75-inch Hisense U7 at $1,199 from Best Buy. That is a later dated listing for a U7, not a live quote and not a direct price comparison with the 2024 75-inch model, whose suffix the HotHardware passage did not state. Tom’s Guide also distinguished QD7 sizes: it reported 144Hz on 75-inch-and-larger QD7 sets and 60Hz on 65-inch-and-smaller versions. Those QD7 details should not be transferred to either U7 deal discussed here.

The available dated reporting does not establish today’s price, stock, seller availability, or delivery and installation terms for the 2024 U76N or the 75-inch U7 offer. To assess a current listing, match the complete model number—not just “Hisense U7” or “100-inch”—and confirm the seller, price, and delivery terms directly with the retailer. Do not treat the historical $1,999.99 or roughly $900 figures as current without that check.
