Montenegro’s Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property lists an issued construction permit for VJETRO PARK KORITA DOO in its 2026 register. The entry, file UPI 06_333_26_1394_14, indicates that the Korita wind project has advanced beyond its application stage. Ecoportal reports that the permit covers the first phase of an 88 MW wind farm near Bijelo Polje, including 11 turbines and a 35/400 kV substation. The ministry’s linked permit document was not available for independent review, so the exact signature date and full conditions remain unconfirmed.

The report is therefore the appropriate source for the turbine count, phase capacity and substation description until the underlying ministry document is available for verification. When must construction start and finish?
Ecoportal reports that work must begin within two years of the permit date and be completed within five years. On that account, the project’s completion deadline is October 2031. Because the exact permit signature date was not independently established from the ministry’s linked document, October 2031 should be treated as the reported deadline rather than a date read directly from the complete permit text.

How does the permit timeline differ from the earlier application?
The two ministry records represent different stages of the same permitting process:
- 26 December 2025: the ministry published an application record for Vjetro park Korita DOO.
- 2026 register: the ministry lists an issued construction permit for VJETRO PARK KORITA DOO, file UPI 06_333_26_1394_14.

Is the Korita wind project the same as the nearby solar project?
No. A separate project reported in the Korita area involves EE Korita and is described as a 240 MW solar development. Its capacity, company and grid arrangements should not be added to the 88 MW wind project covered by the permit.
