Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Start by identifying the exact Fogatti model: its fault codes and troubleshooting instructions are not universal across the product line. Check the heater’s rating label or controller, then use the matching manual before interpreting an error or buying a replacement part. For many symptoms, a sensible first sequence is to check power, water flow, and then seek model-specific help for gas-pressure or combustion problems.
Identify the model and symptom first
Fogatti makes several tankless and RV water-heater families, and their troubleshooting guidance varies. Find the model on the heater’s rating label or controller and locate its manual in Fogatti’s manuals directory. Record the exact symptom and any displayed error code. A blank screen, a powered controller that does not respond, failed ignition, intermittent hot water, and a displayed code call for different checks.
Do not assume an error code means the same thing on every Fogatti heater. Use the code table for the model you have; an example from one model’s manual is not a diagnosis for another. The available manual results include different fault tables, so a code should not be interpreted without confirming the unit.
What to check when the heater is not working
If the controller is blank
Use the matching manual to check the power supply and connections. Fogatti’s troubleshooting guidance includes checking DC voltage at the board or controller connections. This is electrical diagnostic work: if you are not comfortable testing voltage or handling the connections, stop and contact a qualified technician rather than probing or replacing components by guesswork. See Fogatti’s tankless water-heater troubleshooting guidance.

If the display is on but the heater does not respond
Check that water is reaching the heater and that the installation’s flow conditions match the model manual. Fogatti identifies the flow sensor and water-flow stress as possible diagnostic areas. Its guidance describes testing sensor response, but that does not establish a universal DIY repair or a compatible replacement part for every model. Confirm the model and use its manual or a qualified service provider before replacing a sensor.
If the heater will not ignite or shows a combustion-related fault
Use the exact model’s fault-code table first. Fogatti lists gas pressure as a diagnostic step after power and water-flow checks, but gas-system diagnosis and adjustment are not casual DIY tasks. Have a qualified technician follow the model-specific service instructions; do not change gas settings or disassemble the gas system based on a generic code explanation.

And it also comes with a 15 x 15 inches door and an intelligent remote controller up to 2 meters long
If hot water is intermittent
Note when the interruption occurs and whether the controller displays a code. Check water supply and flow against the model manual, then follow that manual’s fault table if a code appears. Intermittent hot water alone does not identify a single failed component, so avoid ordering a sensor or other part until the heater model and diagnosis are confirmed.
How to interpret a Fogatti error code
- Record the full model number. Read the rating label or controller rather than relying on the product family name alone.
- Write down the exact code and symptom. Note whether ignition fails, water flow changes, or the display behaves differently.
- Open the matching manual. Find the fault-code table in Fogatti’s manuals directory and follow the instructions for that unit.
- Stop at electrical or gas-system work you cannot safely perform. Ask a qualified technician to diagnose faults requiring voltage testing, gas-pressure checks, or combustion service.
For example, a search-result copy of one retailer-hosted installation manual associates E1 with ignition failure for that particular unit. That example is not a universal Fogatti definition: other model manuals have different fault tables. Likewise, forum titles such as “E8 error” are not verified diagnoses; identify the unit and consult its manual before acting.

The tankless RV water heater is CSA certified and has multiple protection features such as a built-in forced exhaust fan on top, stable combustion and automatic gas shut-off for accidental flame failure. Antifreeze protection keeps the system functional even in cold weather
Protect a Fogatti RV water heater from freezing
Automatic winter protection is not whole-RV freeze protection. Fogatti says the heater’s automatic protection can protect the heater itself to approximately 14°F (−10°C), but external RV plumbing and water lines remain unprotected. Its guidance recommends manual winterization as outdoor temperatures approach 32°F (0°C) or below. Follow the exact heater manual and account for the RV’s plumbing layout and expected conditions.
Manual winterization precautions
Fogatti’s winterization procedure calls for isolating the fresh-water tank, using compressed air at no more than 43.5 PSI, opening outlets in both hot and cold positions to drain the system, and adding RV non-toxic antifreeze. The guide says to flush the system thoroughly before using it again and not to use automotive antifreeze. Follow the complete procedure in Fogatti’s RV water-heater winterization guide; do not treat these steps as a substitute for the instructions specific to your heater and RV plumbing.
