You normally do not need to buy a basic wall mount separately. You may still need wall-specific fasteners, installation labor, cable-routing materials, or a different mount if you want swivel or tilt. Verify the exact model’s package contents before buying, especially for older, imported, refurbished, clearance, or special-edition sets. Samsung’s current U.S. overview and product pages identify the included mount as the Slim Fit Wall Mount: The Frame overview.
What wall mount comes with Samsung The Frame?
The included accessory is Samsung’s Slim Fit Wall Mount. It is designed to hold the television close to the wall so the screen resembles a framed picture. It is a fixed, close-to-wall solution—not generally an articulating full-motion bracket.

“Slim fit” does not guarantee a mathematically zero gap. Wall flatness, construction, bracket alignment and installation quality affect the final space between the set and wall. Samsung discusses this variation on its The Frame design page.

These current U.S. examples list the Slim Fit Wall Mount as included. Specifications and package contents can change, so use the exact model number on the retailer or Samsung page rather than relying on screen size alone.

Older and non-U.S. televisions
Do not generalize the current U.S. listing to every Frame ever sold. Earlier generations used terms such as “No Gap Wall Mount,” and accessory bundles differed by model year and country. International, clearance, open-box and special-edition listings should be checked individually in the Accessories, Specifications or What’s in the box section. Older terminology appears in Samsung’s 2021 specification sheet and older specification sheet.
What is included besides the mount?
The TV package includes the components Samsung specifies for that model, but the exact brackets, screws, pads, templates and cable pieces vary by mount generation. Current product pages may also list support for a basic stand, a Studio Stand and customizable bezels. Those are separate choices from the wall bracket.

- Labor and wall preparation: Delivery, electrical work, concealed wiring and professional installation are not automatically included with the bracket.
- Wall fasteners: Anchors and screws must suit your wall and the TV load; never assume one universal anchor set is safe for every surface.
Can you use a different wall mount?
Yes. Choose a bracket rated for the TV’s weight and dimensions and verify the exact VESA pattern, M8 screw size and permitted screw depth. A 43- or 55-inch LS03FA uses 200 × 200 mm VESA mounting; the cited 65-inch LS03FA and 65-inch Frame Pro use 400 × 300 mm. A mount that fits another Samsung television—or another Frame size—may not fit yours.
When the included mount is the best choice
- You want the picture-frame appearance and a mostly fixed viewing position.
- The wall is suitable for a close-to-wall installation.
- You do not need frequent access to rear ports.
- You want to avoid buying a duplicate basic bracket.
When a full-motion or alternative mount makes sense
- You need to swivel toward different seating areas or tilt to control glare.
- You regularly connect equipment and need easier rear access.
- The wall is irregular and another bracket design better suits its construction.
- You prefer positioning flexibility over the thinnest profile.
Samsung lists compatible full-motion accessories separately. The cited U.S. page showed $129.99 for one accessory associated with the 55-inch LS03FA and $159.99 for one associated with the 65-inch Frame Pro when accessed in August 2026; prices and availability are time-sensitive. How to install the included mount safely
Use the model-specific manual as the controlling document. Samsung’s installation guide shows this general sequence:

- Confirm the exact TV model and download its installation guide.
- Identify the wall construction and locate suitable studs or engineered reinforcement.
- Place the TV face-down on a padded, stable surface.
- Attach the correct left and right hanging brackets to the TV.
- Fit protective pads and connect or secure the relevant cable before the set is close to the wall.
- Use the supplied template or model measurements to mark bracket positions.
- Check that both marks are level and correctly spaced.
- Drill pilot holes appropriate to the wall material.
- Secure the wall brackets with fasteners rated for that wall and load.
- Lift the TV with at least two people.
- Engage the TV brackets with the wall brackets and verify that they are locked.
- Confirm the TV is secure before releasing it. Disconnect cables before lifting it off for removal.
Samsung’s Slim Fit Wall Mount installation guide illustrates the brackets, templates, pilot-hole positions and two-person lifting requirement. Typical preparation includes a stud finder, level, Phillips screwdriver, drill, pencil and suitable fasteners. Masonry bits, sockets, toggle bolts or specialist anchors may be required for particular walls and are not universal box contents.
Does the included mount work on drywall, brick or plaster?
Drywall and gypsum board
Do not attach a heavy Frame directly to unsupported drywall. Fasten to studs where possible, or use properly engineered reinforcement designed for the load. Samsung warns against fixing the mount to drywall without reinforcement. If stud spacing, metal studs or backing is uncertain, use a qualified installer.
Brick and concrete
These surfaces require masonry-rated anchors and the correct drill bit. The supplied hardware may not be appropriate.

Plaster, tile and unusual walls
Assess the substrate behind the finish, avoid cracking fragile surfaces and select fasteners for the actual structure. Professional installation is prudent when the wall cannot be positively identified.

- Record the full model number, not just “55-inch Frame.”
- Confirm the listing says “Slim Fit Wall-mount Support: Included.”
- Download the correct installation guide and verify bracket dimensions.
- Check the wall for studs, reinforcement, pipes and wiring.
- Confirm VESA spacing and M8 screw depth before buying an alternative bracket.
- Plan the power outlet, soundbar connection, cable route and any One Connect Box location.
- Have a second person available; larger screens may require more help.
- Decide whether the close-to-wall profile or swivel access matters more.
Common mistakes to avoid
Buying a duplicate or incompatible mount
The included Slim Fit Wall Mount is not interchangeable with every Samsung Slim Fit accessory. Match the exact model, supported screen range, VESA pattern, screw size and screw depth.

Assuming “flush” means zero gap
Uneven walls and installation tolerances can leave a visible gap even with the intended bracket.
Confusing accessories
A bezel changes the frame appearance; a Studio Stand replaces wall mounting; neither is a wall bracket.
Installing alone or forgetting cable access
The set still needs controlled two-person lifting, and a close installation can make later connections difficult. Plan cables before securing the brackets.
Do you need to pay for professional installation?
The supplied mount is hardware, not a promise of free labor. Retailer delivery packages or promotions may add installation, but Samsung’s cited product pages do not establish one universal U.S. installation-included policy. Consider a professional for large screens, masonry, metal studs, concealed wiring, unusual wall construction or any situation where structural support is uncertain.
Bottom line: do you need to buy a wall mount?
For a current U.S. The Frame or The Frame Pro, usually no: Samsung lists a Slim Fit Wall Mount in the box. Budget separately for wall-appropriate fasteners and possible labor, and buy another bracket only if you need motion, a different mounting geometry or a replacement. Before purchase or drilling, verify the exact SKU’s accessories, VESA pattern, screw depth and model-year connection layout.
