Crews are reportedly clearing slopes at the former Pines Peak Ski Area in Indiana, but the work described so far is preparation—not confirmation that the ski area has reopened or has a public opening date. A September 2026 report says the project is intended to begin with snow tubing, with skiing and snowboarding considered as possible later additions.
What work is taking place at Pines Peak?

The report does not include direct statements from either company, so these details are attributed to that report rather than independently confirmed. Unofficial Networks’ September 8, 2026 report
