Brian E. Curtin, P.E., BRPH’s president, CEO and chairman of the board, was elected to the National Academy of Construction’s Class of 2026. BRPH announced the election on September 28, 2026, naming him among 45 new members. The Academy’s directory lists Curtin with BRPH Companies, Inc. and gives his membership year as 2026.
Why was Brian Curtin elected?
BRPH says the election recognizes Curtin’s work as a design-build innovator, his record on projects for public and private owners nationwide, and his advocacy and mentorship for future generations. Those are the company’s stated reasons for his selection; the announcement does not describe a separate award or identify a single project as the basis for election.

What is Curtin’s background at BRPH?
According to BRPH’s September 28 announcement, Curtin joined the firm in 1990 and progressed through roles that included director of operations and executive vice president before becoming president, CEO and chairman of the board. BRPH says the firm more than doubled in size during his tenure and expanded its national and international presence. The company says his current responsibilities include business strategy, financial performance and growth, with an emphasis on client service and operational efficiency.

What project experience did BRPH cite?
BRPH describes Curtin’s experience in launch pad design and redevelopment, spacecraft manufacturing and facility integration, aerospace manufacturing centers, and spaceport planning in the United States and internationally. The announcement names major projects involving NASA, Boeing, United Launch Alliance, Lockheed Martin and Space Florida. It describes his leadership roles on projects; it does not establish that every named organization commissioned work directly from Curtin personally.
What does the National Academy of Construction do?
The NAC says it recognizes leaders in construction and draws on members’ experience to help improve the industry. BRPH’s announcement states that the Academy was founded in 1999 and had more than 500 industry leaders in 2026. That figure is attributed to BRPH’s announcement rather than an independently audited count.

Was Curtin formally inducted?
BRPH’s announcement said the Class of 2026 would be formally inducted at the NAC Annual Meeting on September 25, 2026, in Nashville. The announcement confirms his election, and the NAC directory records his 2026 membership year, but the available sources do not confirm whether the ceremony took place as scheduled. The NAC member directory lists “Curtin, Brian” under BRPH Companies, Inc.
