#1 Best Overall
- 5.5 lbs Heavy Duty Base: These 28-inch traffic cones meet US MTUCD standards and won't be blown over or moved easily, meaning they stay where you need them
- Flexible PVC: The road parking cones is made of sturdy PVC material, can withstand vehicle impacts, bend under pressure, and rebound to their original shape without cracking
- High Intensity Reflective Strips: Each large traffic cone has 1 4-inch and 1 6-inch reflective collar, ensuring 360° visibility day and night even in low-light or rainy conditions, enhancing the safety of drivers and workers
- Multiple Uses: Can be used for highway maintenance, road works and construction, marking road hazards, parking lots, or crowd control
- Easily Stored for Transport: The traffic cones are easy to stack together and take up very little space in your car or garage, making storage and transportation very easy
What drivers should do
- Check conditions before leaving. Review the latest Clark Police or municipal update because the work areas and traffic controls can change.
- Allow extra travel time. A lane merge or short-term closure can require a slower approach, a turn around the work area or a different route.
- Reduce speed and follow posted controls. Watch for signs, cones, flaggers and vehicles entering or leaving the construction area.
- Keep space around your vehicle. Avoid abrupt lane changes near a merge and leave room for other drivers to move safely.
- Use an alternate route when practical. If your trip passes one of the named roads, identify another route before reaching the work zone rather than making a last-second maneuver.
Clark Police’s stated instruction is: “When driving through these locations, please be sure to use caution and drive safely.”
How the Oct. 16 warning differs from the earlier alert
A related Clark Police alert reported Oct. 14 listed 11 locations. The two alerts overlap in several areas but are not identical, which indicates that the list of active work sites can change.
Rank #2
- Nighttime Visibility - These orange cones with high-intensity 360° reflective bands help drivers spot hazards from afar after dark and in daylight, guiding traffic around a work zone or driveway.
- Heavy-Duty Stability - These are weighted 5.3-lb parking cones. Each traffic cone uses a square base for stability on asphalt, concrete, and uneven surfaces - reliable for job sites and lane control.
- Flexible PVC Durability - Withstanding impact, these street cones bend when bumped, then spring back to shape without easily cracking, which means fewer replacements even during repeated deployment.
- Ready for the Sun & Cold Weather - The road cones stay bright and dependable through sun exposure and low temperatures, maintaining performance across seasons for long-term use on campuses or properties.
- Stackable, 28-Inch Tall Cones - The traffic safety cones create clear boundaries fast; they're stackable construction cones that nest together for compact storage - easy to transport and store.

The police notices do not provide a construction completion date, a schedule for individual locations or an estimate of how long a closure or merge may last. They also do not publish traffic-volume, delay, injury or project-cost figures. Drivers should therefore treat the advisory as a real-time safety warning, not as a timetable for when roads will reopen.

Planning a trip through Clark
For a route that uses Raritan Road, Valley Road, Central Avenue, Georgia Street, Holland Drive, Rutgers Road or any of the named intersections, check for a current local update immediately before departure. Recheck conditions if your trip is delayed, since a temporary control may be removed or added during the day. Drivers unfamiliar with the area should build in additional time and avoid relying on a route that requires a last-second merge at a work zone.
The Oct. 16 advisory is specific to Clark, New Jersey. Because no end date was announced, the safest assumption is that construction controls may remain in place until local authorities report a change.
