How to choose for your tile and job
Start with tile size, material and surface
Check the manufacturer’s stated material and format fit against the tile you are installing. The listed products cover different combinations of ceramic, porcelain, stone, glass and slabs; do not assume that a tool listed for one material or format is suitable for all others. The tile surface must also be suitable for a suction grip.
Choose standalone power or an accessory
If you do not own a compatible GRABO vacuum lifter, compare standalone tools such as QEP, Montolit, Diam, Högert or Sidamo. If you do own GRABO equipment, the Tile Vibration attachment may be an option only after checking the exact model compatibility. The attachment does not include the lifter, and the manufacturer specifically excludes DeWalt GRABO.

Compare adjustment, handling and battery package
- Vibration control: published options range from variable trigger speed or adjustable intensity to multiple speeds or modes. These descriptions do not establish which setting is right for a specific installation; follow the tool’s instructions.
- Grip figures: compare stated capacity only as a manufacturer specification. A capacity figure is not a measure of vibration quality, bond strength or installation result.
- Power system: check voltage, battery ecosystem, and whether batteries and charger are included. For example, QEP lists two batteries and a charger, while Högert identifies its OneAccuSystem ecosystem; package contents differ by product.
- Ergonomics and orientation: handle adjustment, corner-work plates, vertical or horizontal use, and features such as a bubble level may matter for the way you work. Confirm the exact configuration offered.
- Warranty and availability: QEP lists a 3-year limited warranty on its product page. Terms, availability and specifications can change, so check the current listing for the model and region you plan to buy.
Use a vibrating suction cup safely
Follow the manual for the exact tool. A POWERTEC manual advises inspecting the rubber suction pad for cuts or damage, cleaning the pad and material surface before activation, and staying within the tool’s effective capacity. Those instructions are specific to that manual and should not be treated as a substitute for the instructions supplied with another brand.

Consider the GRABO attachment only if you already have a compatible lifter and have confirmed the exact model fit.
