A TV console is not automatically a safe stand: check its load rating and usable dimensions, as well as the C2’s VESA pattern, weight, screw requirements and port clearance.
This guide is for U.S. LG C2 owners. The C2 came in 42-, 48-, 55-, 65-, 77- and 83-inch sizes, but screen size alone does not establish compatibility. Start with the full model number on the rear label, box, invoice or TV settings.

Identify your C2 before choosing a stand
Find the full model number, not just “LG C2.” Stand geometry, VESA spacing, weight and included hardware can vary by size and regional model. LG’s C2 product information identifies the U.S. family in six screen sizes, from 42 to 83 inches. Use the model number to find the manual or ask LG support to confirm the mounting details for your exact TV.
VESA patterns to check
The following is a working guide, not a substitute for the manual for your particular model. LG’s U.S. product information specifies 300 × 200 mm for the 65-inch C2 and 400 × 400 mm for the 83-inch model. Confirm every other size against its manual before ordering.

Choose the type of replacement you need
OEM LG stand
An exact OEM stand is the closest match for appearance and mounting geometry, and is often the most straightforward fit. It must be listed for your precise C2 size and model. LG’s U.S. C2 pages are discontinued-product pages, so availability is model-, region- and stock-dependent, not guaranteed. Ask LG or an authorized parts seller using the full model number. LG notes on its 48-inch C2 page that a separate OLED floor stand is available for the 42- and 48-inch C2 models; confirm present availability and exact compatibility before buying. Do not assume a stand from a C1, C3, G2 or another LG TV fits.
Universal tabletop VESA stand
This attaches to the TV’s rear mounting holes and sits on your existing furniture. It is a practical choice for many 42–55-inch setups, and may offer height adjustment or swivel that the original base does not. Compatibility depends on the exact VESA pattern, TV weight, screw length and depth, mounting-plate clearance and the stand’s own footprint—not just the advertised screen-size range.
Freestanding floor stand
A floor stand can work in a rental, a corner or a room without a suitable console, and larger models can accommodate 65–83-inch TVs. Check the capacity, VESA range, base footprint, height, tip resistance and cable slack. Floor stands are more visible than a console setup and can put the screen higher than is comfortable from low seating.
TV console or media unit
A console provides storage and cable routing, but supports the TV only if its top is rated for the load and has adequate usable depth. Prefer furniture wider than the TV where possible, and consider how the feet or stand concentrate the load. Secure furniture against tipping. If the console is only for equipment beneath a wall-mounted TV, its top does not need to support the screen.
Stand recommendations by C2 size
42- and 48-inch C2
For the closest match, look for the separate LG OLED floor stand LG identifies for these sizes, after confirming availability and model fit. For a cabinet setup, the SANUS VSTV1 is a tabletop candidate: its listing specifies 32–60-inch TVs, adjustable height and 74 degrees of left-right swivel. The listed U.S. price is $159.99; check the page for current price and availability. Confirm that your C2’s VESA pattern and weight fall within the stand’s specifications.

55-inch C2
The VSTV1’s stated size range includes 55 inches, making it a candidate only if the VESA pattern, weight, screw setup and furniture fit also check out. For a no-console floor setup, the FITUEYES Eiffel FT65 is listed for 32–65-inch TVs, up to 88 lb and VESA patterns up to 400 × 400 mm. Its listed price was $179; recheck current price and stock. Either option requires checking your TV’s exact specifications.
65-inch C2
Do not use the VSTV1: its published range ends at 60 inches. For a freestanding option, compare the FITUEYES Eiffel FT65 (32–65 inches, up to 88 lb, VESA up to 400 × 400 mm) with the FT75 (43–75 inches, up to 132 lb, VESA up to 600 × 400 mm). Both ranges include the C2’s 300 × 200 mm VESA pattern, but you still need to verify the TV’s weight, hardware, height and room layout. Listed prices were $179 for FT65 and $193 for FT75; check the Eiffel collection listing for current specifications and price.
77-inch C2
Check the exact model’s VESA pattern and weight before choosing a large-screen floor stand. The FITUEYES Eiffel FT75 is listed for 43–75 inches, so its stated size range does not include a 77-inch C2. The FT88 V2 is listed for 55–88 inches, up to 132 lb and VESA up to 600 × 400 mm; its listed price was $269. The FT100 is another candidate if its stated 75–100-inch range, up-to-187-lb capacity and VESA up to 800 × 600 mm suit the exact TV; its listed price was $329. Confirm the model’s actual limits and current listing before buying.
83-inch C2
Use a large-screen stand or a properly rated furniture setup, never the VSTV1 or a small console chosen by width alone. LG identifies a 400 × 400 mm VESA pattern for the cited 83-inch model. FITUEYES lists the FT88 V2 for up to 88 inches and 132 lb, and the FT100 for 75–100 inches and 187 lb. These are candidates only if the exact TV’s weight, VESA pattern and mounting hardware fall within the selected stand’s limits.

- Weight: Compare the C2’s weight without its original stand with the stand’s maximum capacity.
- Screws and depth: Use the specified screw diameter and length, with any required spacers. A screw that is too short may not engage safely; one that is too long can bottom out and damage the TV. Do not force it.
- Port access: Compare the stand’s mounting-plate drawing with the rear ports. A bracket must not cover HDMI, power or other connections.
- Base and furniture: Check the stand’s footprint against usable top width and depth, plus the furniture’s stated load rating. A wide cabinet may still have a weak or hollow top.
- Stability: Consider the TV’s height, how far the screen can swivel, the base footprint and whether the furniture or stand can be secured against tipping. A capacity rating alone does not guarantee stability on every surface.
- Soundbar clearance: Measure the soundbar and the space below the screen. A low stand can leave the speaker blocking the picture; an adjustable stand may raise the TV, but its column can also conflict with the speaker.
- Cable slack: Leave enough room for power and HDMI cables if the screen swivels. A turned TV can pull connectors or strain cables.
When a console is the right choice
A console is a good option when it both fits the room and is explicitly rated for the TV’s load. The cited 47¼-inch IKEA BESTÅ configuration measures 47¼ × 15¾ × 25¼ inches, has rear cable outlets and adjustable feet, and carries a maximum TV weight of 35 lb; IKEA says it suits TVs up to 45 inches. Its listed price was $90, with a 10-year limited warranty. Separate doors, hinges and interior fittings are required. Check the actual C2’s weight and width: those stated limits make this configuration unsuitable as an automatic choice for most 48-inch-and-larger C2s. It can still serve as storage under a wall-mounted TV.
For any console, measure the usable top surface rather than relying on the overall cabinet dimensions. Check the top-load rating, the weight distribution at the TV’s feet or central base, room for a soundbar and equipment, and whether the cabinet needs wall anchoring.

Replacement legs
Two generic legs can be a lower-cost route, but buy only when the seller confirms the hole spacing, attachment depth and hardware for the exact TV. The furniture must support the separated load points, and the screen may sit too low for a soundbar. Avoid listings that provide only a screen-size claim without a VESA range, weight rating, technical drawing and installation instructions.
Wall mounting
If the TV does not need to sit on furniture, a wall mount removes the need for a replacement base. It still needs the correct VESA pattern and weight rating, appropriate installation for the wall and cable routing that preserves access. Plan for careful handling of the thin OLED panel during installation.
Gallery Stand compatibility
Do not assume a stand designed for an LG G-series Gallery TV fits a C2. LG’s Gallery Stand information identifies compatibility by product family and size; check the listed models rather than relying on the shared OLED branding.
Install and secure the replacement
- Check the TV manual and the stand instructions for the exact VESA spacing, screw size, screw length, spacers and weight limits.
- Assemble the base or floor stand on a flat surface and tighten the hardware as directed. Confirm the furniture or stand is level and stable before mounting the TV.
- With assistance, place the TV screen-down only on a clean, flat, properly padded surface. Do not press on the panel or lift the TV by its screen.
- Attach the brackets with the correct hardware, tightening evenly. Do not force a screw or use one that bottoms out.
- Before setting the TV upright, check that the bracket does not contact the panel or obstruct ports. Then test clearance for the soundbar and cables.
- Secure the furniture or floor stand against tipping where possible. After swiveling, check that cables remain slack and are not pulling on the connectors.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy the original LG C2 stand separately?
Possibly, but availability depends on the exact model, region and remaining stock. Contact LG or a parts seller with the complete model number; do not rely on a listing for a different C2 size or another generation.

Does a C1 stand fit a C2?
Do not assume it does. Use it only if LG or the part documentation confirms compatibility with your exact C2 model and includes the correct brackets and hardware.
