Put the sample where the work will happen
View the sample on the intended wall and check it in the room’s daylight, evening light and installed artificial lighting. For a construction or renovation decision, place it near the flooring, cabinetry, countertops, trim and fabrics that will remain. A color that appears balanced on its own can read differently beside warm wood, cool stone or bright white finishes.
