Its non-stick bowl may be convenient to clean, but non-stick does not establish that the bowl is dishwasher-safe; follow the applicable manual. The FR702D51’s listed 1.8-liter capacity makes it the smaller-capacity choice among these three. T-fal describes a removable drained-oil container and dishwasher-safe removable parts, but the cited details do not name each washable component. Check the current local listing and manual for the exact parts, dimensions, and regional model specification before choosing it for a tight counter or storage space.
How to choose by batch size and oil handling
- Compare both capacity figures. Oil volume and food capacity answer different questions: a fryer’s oil reservoir size does not itself tell you how much food a batch can hold. The FR800050 lists 3.5 liters of oil and 2.65 pounds of food; the FS6055 lists 2.4 liters and 1.5 kilograms.
- Check whether the container filters or merely collects. T-fal says the FR800050 automatically filters oil into its provided removable box. De’Longhi says the FS6055 collection container filters and stores oil for reuse. For FR702D51, T-fal describes removable collection of drained oil.
- Read the dishwasher-safe list literally. Do not infer that every removable piece can go in the dishwasher. The FR800050 has four named parts; De’Longhi specifically names the FS6055 lid, while the bowl is described as non-stick. The FR702D51 source describes removable parts generally without naming them.
- Confirm the exact regional model. Product names and availability can vary by market. Verify the current local product listing and its manual rather than assuming another region’s specification applies.
Oil handling and cleaning safely
Before draining or cleaning, consult the manual for the exact fryer model. A surfaced De’Longhi manual instructs users to keep oil within the MIN and MAX markings on the removable container and to disconnect the fryer during cleaning; follow the manual that applies to your appliance.
