Amazon’s October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days holiday-decor roundup includes artificial Christmas trees, a pre-lit wreath, solar string lights, garland and a seasonal candle. The discounts reported for those specific items range from 15% to 47%—not 55%. Amazon’s “up to 55% or more” claim applies to select deals across the event, not every decor product. The two-day, Prime-member event runs October 6–7, 2026, and is scheduled to end at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7. Amazon’s event coverage and ABC News/Good Morning America’s decor roundup provide the event and item details below; prices and availability can change.

How to read the 55% and 40% savings claims
Amazon describes some Today’s Big Deals across Prime Big Deal Days as reaching up to 55% or more. That is an event-wide maximum, not a discount attributed to each item in the decor list. Amazon separately says select seasonal home decor from Lenox, National Tree Company Store and Artoid Mode is discounted by up to 40%; that category-level claim is also distinct from the specific markdowns reported by ABC News/GMA. See Amazon’s event deal coverage and its seasonal deals guide.

Choose by location and setup, not the largest markdown
The listings span different uses, so compare the product’s intended location and features before comparing discounts. The descriptions identify a 7.5-foot tree, a 48-inch door wreath, 600-LED solar string lights sold as a six-pack, and a 9-foot pre-lit garland. They do not provide a consistent basis for comparing durability, brightness, setup effort or overall quality, and the roundup is not an independent product test.
- For a tree: compare its height and whether the lights are built in; the two named 7.5-foot models specify pre-lit or twinkling lights in their names.
- For a door: note the wreath’s listed 48-inch size and pre-lit description, then check that it suits the intended space.
- For outdoor lighting: confirm the solar lights’ intended placement and the six-pack quantity against your needs.
- For a mantel or railing: check whether a 9-foot garland is an appropriate length for the area you plan to decorate.
How to check a deal before buying
- Confirm access and timing. Prime membership is required for event deals. Amazon scheduled this 48-hour event from 12:01 a.m. PDT October 6 through 11:59 p.m. PDT October 7, 2026. Its scheduled deal drops were midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT; limited-time offers were available while supplies lasted. A drop schedule does not mean every item appears at every drop. Check Amazon’s FAQ for event details and the listing for current availability.
- Check the live product page. Verify the exact item, price, seller, stock and any product options before checkout. The prices in the October 7 roundup may have changed.
- Review Price History. Amazon says a product page’s Price History feature can show up to 365 days of pricing data. Use it to assess the displayed markdown rather than treating a listed prior price alone as proof of value. The reviewed roundup does not provide historical price traces for these individual products.
Amazon’s FAQ listed standard U.S. Prime membership at $14.99 per month or $139 per year when it was checked for this event; membership pricing may change. Check Amazon’s current FAQ before making a membership decision.
