How to orient and install the wire rack
Samsung’s support guidance says to insert the wire rack with the protruding stoppers on both sides toward the front. The wire rack is intended for grilling and roasting. Follow the instructions for your specific oven if its rack or cavity design differs.
Use the rack insert with a tray
The wire rack insert rests on a tray. Put the insert on the tray and place them into the oven together; this arrangement helps catch liquid and limit drips onto the oven floor. Check your manual to confirm which accessories came with your model.
Choose the right accessory and orientation
Samsung describes several tray types, but the supplied accessories can differ by oven. For the trays below, orient the slanted side toward the front.

Telescopic rails
If your oven has a telescopic rail, pull the rail plate out, place the tray on it, slide the plate back, and close the door. Use this only on models equipped with the rail and follow that model’s manual.

Dual Cook divider
On compatible ovens, insert the divider in the middle of the cavity with the “Dual Cook” wording facing forward. It separates the oven into two compartments. Confirm the divider procedure in the manual for your model.
Removable side racks
Samsung Canada’s FAQ describes removing a side rack by pressing its top, tilting it down about 45 degrees, then pulling it out. Reinstall it by reversing those steps. The design and applicability vary by model, so check your manual before removing a rack.

How to choose a rack level
Use the rack-level guidance in your oven’s own cooking guide. The appropriate position depends on both the oven model and the food; a level recommended for one Samsung oven should not be treated as a recommendation for every Samsung oven.
For example, the cooking guide in the Samsung NV7B6675CAA manual pairs sponge cake in a 25–26 cm tin with a wire rack at level 2, and marble cake in a Gugelhopf tin with a wire rack at level 3. - Find the oven’s exact model number, usually on its identification label or in the purchase documentation.
- Open the matching owner’s manual and locate its cooking guide or accessory instructions.
- Use the level listed for the food and cooking mode you are preparing; do not transfer a level from another model’s guide.
Safety and cleaning
Do not touch hot racks without oven gloves. For cleaning, Samsung lists warm soapy water or mild detergent, a clean cloth or kitchen roll, and drying with a towel. Avoid abrasive cleaning agents, hard brushes, scouring pads or cloths, steel wool, knives, and other abrasive materials that could damage the racks (Samsung UK rack guidance).
Check compatibility before replacing a rack
Samsung’s support pages identify the wire rack as an oven accessory, but the available accessories and fit can vary by model. Before buying a replacement wire rack, confirm your full oven model number and check that the part is listed as compatible with it; do not assume a rack fits every Samsung oven.
