What is planned for the Dubai tower?
Dar Global and The Trump Organization announced the project on 30 April 2025. The announced name is Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai. The developers describe a hotel, branded residences and a private members’ club. Dar Global’s announcement places it on Sheikh Zayed Road at the entrance to Downtown Dubai, with views toward the Burj Khalifa and the sea.
The named project partners are Dar Global, an international real-estate developer, and The Trump Organization. In the announcement, Eric Trump, identified as the organization’s executive vice president, said: “We are proud to expand our presence in the region further through the launch of our iconic Trump Tower Dubai in collaboration with the world-class luxury developer Dar Global.”
How tall is it expected to be, and what is its status?
A later Dar Global update reports a planned height of approximately 350 metres and 80 floors, and names Gulf Asia Contracting in a contractor appointment. Those are developer-reported project details and a reported construction milestone; they do not establish that the tower is complete or open. The update does not establish a completion or opening date.

Is the pool really the world’s highest outdoor pool?
Not as an established present-day record. Dar Global says residents and guests will have access to “the highest outdoor pool in the world,” while The Trump Organization describes the planned amenity as the world’s highest outdoor swimming pool. Both statements refer to what the project is intended to offer in the future.
The cited project materials do not give a pool elevation or an independent comparison with other outdoor pools. So the precise, supportable description is that the developers plan a pool they say will be the world’s highest—not that a completed pool has been independently confirmed as holding that record.
