Its utility-trailer appearance is the basis for calling it “stealthy,” not a tested ranking; inside, it offers a convertible bed and a menu of optional amenities. New Atlas reported the model and its prices on March 22, 2025, but those figures are historical rather than current quotes.
What the Lutz 2513 is—and what “stealthy” means
The Lutz 2513 is a single-axle camper conversion based on Humbaur’s HK 752513 plywood cargo trailer. From outside, it resembles a basic white utility box with a large rear door. Open the door and the cargo area becomes a small cabin. New Atlas’s March 22, 2025 report describes that understated exterior; “stealthiest” is promotional framing, not a measured comparison of campers. New Atlas’s Lutz 2513 report is the source for the product details below.
How much room is inside?
The reported living area is 35 square feet (3.3 square meters). A side window measures 35 by 20 inches (90 by 50 centimeters) and has a screen and blackout blind; a roof ventilation hatch provides another opening.
Bed and cargo mode
An L-shaped sofa converts into a double bed measuring 79 by 52 inches (200 by 131 centimeters). The five-piece cold-foam mattress is reported as 7.5 inches (10 centimeters) thick. The Maxx-Flexx frame can slide aside to open a full-length aisle, making it possible to carry long gear such as bicycles or a motorcycle when the sleeping setup is moved out of the way.

What do the weight ratings tell a towing buyer?
New Atlas reported a 750-kilogram gross vehicle weight rating for the base trailer and described an upgraded braked trailer rated at 1,300 kilograms. Gross vehicle weight is the trailer’s maximum permitted total weight, not its payload or empty weight. The figures alone therefore do not tell you how much equipment you can load or whether a particular vehicle can tow it.

Is it the same camper as the Sportcaravan Cube 1?
No. The Sportcaravan Cube 1 is a separate micro-caravan, not another name for the Lutz 2513. New Atlas reported the Cube 1 in January 2024 as a 3.2-meter-long, 1.7-meter-high design with a 320-kilogram empty weight and a 205-by-130-centimeter bed. Its optional rooftop tent connects to the cabin through a hatch. Those specifications and its reported €12,900 starting price belong to the Cube 1, not the Lutz.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who is the Lutz 2513 likely to suit?
Its compact bed-first layout makes most sense for someone who wants a small towable sleeping space, can do without a full-size caravan interior, and values the option to reclaim cargo space. New Atlas also describes it as a portable spare bedroom to tow behind a larger motorhome for children or teenagers. Buyers who need a ready-equipped kitchen, substantial water capacity, or a verified payload should confirm the specific configuration and documentation before deciding.
