Home Depot’s 2026 Halloween collection is not still on the way: the retailer announced it on July 15, opened online and app availability July 16, and said store rollout would begin later in August. Its Halloween category remains live, but a listing does not guarantee local stock, so check the product page and your nearby store before planning a purchase.
What’s new in Home Depot’s 2026 Halloween collection?
The retailer’s July 15 announcement highlights returning fan favorites and new oversized animatronics. The features below are Home Depot’s descriptions, not independent tests.
| Decoration | Height | Highlighted features |
|---|---|---|
| Giant-Sized SKELLY | 12 feet | App-enabled head and mouth movement; Bluetooth real-time voice interaction; capacity to record up to 30 sounds; 20 LCD LifeEyes effects. |
| Grave & Bones LED mummy | 11 feet | Motion-activated illumination, poseable shoulders and customizable wrappings. |
| Wicked Woods perilous plant monster | 8 feet | Animated LED figure with motion-triggered head movement and glowing LEDs. |
| Rotwing parrot | 5 feet | Interactive figure. |
| Evil Pixie | 5.5 feet | Animated figure. |
| Lethal Lily | 7 feet | Returning figure with app-controlled phrases and movement. |
For the original 12-foot SKELLY, Home Depot said customers could find it in stores at its original $299 price. That is the announcement’s price for the original model, not a verified current price for every listing or a newer version. The retailer also said all of its in-store giant animatronics were priced below $300; treat that as the claim made in its July announcement, not a current survey of prices.
How to choose a giant prop for your yard
Compare the actual space and features you need rather than choosing on height alone. Home Depot’s announcement does not provide independent comparisons of setup time, reliability or weather resistance.

How to plan storage for an oversized skeleton
Home Depot’s announcement names a Home Accents Holiday décor storage bag and a Husky 170-gallon Pro Grip tote for seasonal décor storage, including oversized skeletons and animatronics. It does not say that every prop fits either option. Before buying storage, compare the prop’s disassembled dimensions with the container’s interior dimensions and account for removable parts, wrapping and the space available where you will store it.
