The Ninja Swirl by CREAMi combines scoop-style frozen desserts with soft-serve processing and dispensing in one countertop appliance. Its U.S. model, NC701C, is listed with 13 programs, including six soft-serve programs. That makes it a distinctive option for people who want both formats at home—not proof that it makes better soft serve than competing machines.
What the Ninja Swirl adds
SharkNinja announced the Ninja Swirl by CREAMi on February 11, 2025. The company describes it as a machine for scoopable frozen treats as well as soft serve, with a handle for dispensing swirls. The product idea is to bring two dessert styles into one appliance rather than require a separate soft-serve machine.
The U.S. listing identifies the machine as model NC701C and specifies 13 programs, six of them for soft serve. It also lists two included 16-ounce pints. These are manufacturer-stated features; the available information does not establish comparative performance or independently tested texture results. Ninja’s NC701C listing
What “the hardest type” means in practice
Calling soft serve the hardest type of ice cream to make at home is an editorial framing, not a measured ranking of dessert-making difficulty. The Swirl’s relevant distinction is that it offers a soft-serve program family and a dispensing handle alongside scoop-style options. Whether that combination suits you depends on wanting both formats in one machine; there is no independent test here showing it outperforms dedicated soft-serve makers or other dessert machines.
