3. Lift the cabinet on legs
Suitable legs can make a floor-standing unit feel lighter and more like a furniture piece. IKEA lists legs among BESTÅ system components. Confirm that the chosen legs fit the exact frame and that the finished cabinet remains stable; do not assume that any furniture leg will be compatible.
4. Build a long, low media unit

7. Combine drawers and doors

11. Keep the front visually minimal
For a cleaner face, choose a compatible push-open arrangement instead of prominent pulls. Confirm that the opening fitting works with the specific door and frame combination; do not assume that the mechanism suits every BESTÅ front.
12. Change the top-panel look

15. Fit storage into an entry
A suitably shallow configuration can provide entryway storage without overwhelming a narrow passage. 19. Pair matching cabinets around a focal point
