The Zempire Stealth-Jet Solo, Twin and Wide are low-profile propane camp stoves that differ mainly in burner count, cooking width and weight. The Solo is the choice for one-pot meals and the smallest pack. The Twin is the two-burner option for everyday campsite cooking in a compact footprint. The Wide keeps two burners but adds a longer cooking surface for large pots and group meals. The burner output, runtime and packed sizes below are Zempire’s own published specifications. We have not seen an independent field test of these stoves.
Which Stealth-Jet stove is right for you?
Start with how many pots you cook at once and how much room you have to pack the stove. The three models share the same 5 cm packed height and the same 10,000 BTU per-burner rating, so the choice comes down to footprint and weight.
| Model | Burners | Output (per burner) | Weight | Packed size (L × W × H) | Zempire’s stated role |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stealth-Jet Solo | 1 | Up to 10,000 BTU | 2.6 kg (5 lb 10 oz) | 31 × 31 × 5 cm (12.2 × 12.2 × 2.0 in) | Lightest, most compact choice for simple meals and limited packing space |
| Stealth-Jet Twin | 2 | Up to 10,000 BTU each | 3.8 kg (8 lb 6 oz) | 47 × 31 × 5 cm (18.5 × 12.0 × 2.0 in) | Two burners in a compact footprint for everyday campsite cooking |
| Stealth-Jet Wide | 2 | Up to 10,000 BTU each | 4.9 kg (10 lb 13 oz) | 59 × 31 × 5 cm (23.2 × 12.0 × 2.0 in) | Wider surface for larger pots and pans and family or group meals |
The figures above come from Zempire’s official US product pages. Zempire does not publish a year for them.
Choose the Solo if
- You cook one pot or pan at a time and want the lightest option at 2.6 kg.
- Storage space is tight, since the Solo’s packed footprint is square at 31 cm on each side.
- Zempire describes it as “our most portable cooking option to take anywhere.” That is the manufacturer’s own product description, not an independent assessment.
Choose the Twin if
- You need two burners but still want a compact pack. At 47 cm long and 3.8 kg, it is 12 cm longer and 1.2 kg heavier than the Solo.
- You run two pans at once for regular campsite meals.
- Zempire’s Twin page uses the phrase “ultra-low profile for hassle-free storage and transport with powerful 10,000 BTU twin burners.” That is marketing language.
Choose the Wide if
- You regularly cook with large pots or pans, or feed a group.
- You can accept the longest packed length in the range, 59 cm, and the heaviest weight, 4.9 kg.
- Zempire’s Wide page describes a wider surface for larger cookware, with two independently controlled burners.
What 10,000 BTU means for camp cooking
BTU, or British Thermal Unit, is a measure of heat. A higher rating means the burner can put out more heat at full flame. Zempire rates each Stealth-Jet burner at up to 10,000 BTU. That is a manufacturer rating, not a measured result, and it applies to each burner. The Twin and Wide do not have a combined output of 20,000 BTU in any figure Zempire publishes.

The rating does not tell you how long water takes to boil, how the flame holds up in wind, or how well the stove simmers. Those depend on the pot, the wind, the outdoor temperature, the cylinder’s condition and the flame setting you choose. Treat 10,000 BTU as a sign of how much heat the burner can reach, and test the stove in your own conditions before relying on it for timing.
What fuel does a Stealth-Jet stove use?
Fuel is not included with any model. Zempire specifies a disposable propane cylinder of 456 g (1 lb). Follow these steps to connect one:
Rank #2
- PORTABLE: Easy addition to the campsite, picnic, roadside, and more
- TWO WIND GUARDS: Help shield and protect burners from wind
- HEAVY-DUTY LATCH: Easy to open and keeps the stove closed when not in use
- EASY TO CLEAN: Durable, chrome-plated grate is removable for easy cleanup
- IMPROVED KNOB ROTATION: For precise temperature and simmering control of two independently adjustable burners
- Buy a 456 g (1 lb) disposable propane cylinder. Zempire names this size as the compatible fuel.
- Attach the stove’s hose to the cylinder using the included propane canister hose connector. The stove has a 1 in–20 UNEF gas fitting and a 37 cm (14.6 in) hose.
- If you want to use a propane/butane canister instead, buy the separately sold Stealth-Jet Butane Adapter. Zempire says a compatible propane/butane canister requires this adapter. Do not use a generic adapter, since Zempire does not present one as compatible.
Zempire estimates maximum-flame runtime on a 456 g cylinder at 120 minutes for the Solo and 60 minutes for the Twin and Wide. Those are estimates. Zempire says conditions and flame setting change the real runtime. Lower flame settings will generally last longer.
Can I use a Zempire camping stove inside a tent, RV or camper?
No. Zempire states that its camping stoves are for outdoor use only and must not be used in tents, vehicles, RVs, campers or other enclosed spaces, because of carbon monoxide and fire risk. The US page puts it simply: “Zempire camping stoves are for outdoor use only.”
